BJ has not been consistent for a few years even before landing at the Tigers.

My greatest concern at present is alienating Luciano by not resigning BJ regardless of his performance.

Wouldn't it be great for BJ to really dominate.

You cant sign 1 person just to keep his brother happy.Hopefully BJ continues his performance from last week

Certainly shouldnt, I agree.

But what price to you pay to keep one of our most engaged players in Luch???

If Luch is dictating terms (i.e. threatening to leave if his brother isn't re-signed), then he isn't worth having around. How long would he hold us to ransom despite Joey's form? Hopefully BJ gains some consistency, but unfortunately the lack of this is his worst attribute.

What makes you think Luciano has made demands because this is the first time anyone has suggested he is?

I meant hypothetically, if that was to happen.

Not Saying he is, but in truth it could be a sub conscious consideration.

Yeah agree it would have some impact on his thought process. I just hope that when the time comes it's clear cut one way or the other - his form is so poor that Luch can't disagree that it would be ridiculous to re-sign him, or preferably he finds his form and does well for us.

His performance against Dragons was very ordinary. Sure he cracked half a smile but in all seriousness his defence was very poor. He was lucky Brooks was covering up his poor defence. He shouldn’t be selected until he shows a vast improvement. Luck will play much better with him gone.

He’s still an X factor when on song

But his worst games and good games are poles apart...that’s his issue. He either plays good or very poor

We need to get him isolated 1 on 1 with defenders more often... he brushed off Jack Bird easily and he is no slouch in defense

If Sami is playing centre for titans this week we need to put Joey up against him, he's an awful defender.

looks like it may be ESAN

HAHAH! i am dying, it will hopefully be fun to watch

If we use BJ more often like that ... give him some early ball with room to move outside he'll make more runs over the opposition centres .. use him correctly close to line having players in motion .. Doueihi / Brooks with the ball .. say Laurie coming back against run then popping the ball wide to BJ he'll score more often .. !!

With Talau out .. is JTJ available or is this PEC muscle issue more serious than reported .. ?? If JTJ is out, Mbye to centres, Liddle to the bench.

Jimmy out for a month, which is a good thing I think

yeh, i think he needs a break, find some form in reggies

Bloke is unstoppable when his head is screwed on.

He was good last night and we decided to not go his way when he was carving up easy try’s

"He was lucky Brooks was covering up his poor defence."
That is... a quote that just stops me.

We brought on big BJ to bulk up the defense. Your halfback should never EVER be giving your backs regular defense cover...

IMHO, change BJ. Put Mbye in at Center 🙁 with Roberts. Let BJ come on at 14 after a few weeks of Reserve grade.
Look BJ has scored a try each match for us.
Center is too key for us to have a part timer.

How good has he been recently? He seems switched on and focused which is great to see. Hope he can keep it up like he has for the past 3 weeks.

He's a weapon close to the line

Not often you see a Tigers player crash over the line the way he can.

He was good again last night. Stiff to have that try taken off him. Given a lot of teams hide their halves out wide he's a threat everytime we're close to the line.

I’m thinking we give him a two year contract. Reduced money with a CO for the second year. End up with 3 contract years from him in a row.
