Josh Reynolds Charged

This is a horrible situation for all. This relationship has been stacked from the start there was an interview with a Josh when he got her pregnant. In the interview he basically said that he didn’t know her, it was a one night stand thing but now she was pregnant with twins he was going to do the right thing and stand by her and do the right thing. They both said at the time that it wasn’t ideal but they were going to make a go of it.

Then the heartbreak of the twins being stillborn. I don’t know how either of them dealt with that but after that the basis on which you established your relationship is gone.

Sad story that seems to be getting worse

Typical on this forum, guilty until proven innocent.

Close it down.

All these close the thread down comments are down right silly. It’s a west’s tigers player in a serious incident, we are a west’s tigers forum. We discuss all topics west’s tigers related. I saying that no shaming or name calling is tolerated and posts will be deleted with members banned. Don’t like talking about a pressing issues related to west’s tigers, don’t read it....simple

Unfortunately I've known this for a while...but can't elaborate

Is it something we should be worried about or no? (I mean worried in the context of what he’s done, not about him staying or leaving)

As I've stated in the past, I'm a good friend of Josh,s mum,and I'm sure you guys would respect the fact I can't say anymore, it will come out eventually but it's not my place to say....would appreciate no snide remarks thanks boys

is it a sackable offence?

Josh remains innocent until he has been proven guilty. Let's see what the courts say after hearing all the evidence.

My sincere hope is that there is nothing to this as that would mean there is no victim of DV. To hope a person was the victim of violence to help your club's salary cap is low, really poor form.

SMH reporting that he's been charged with assault occasioning ABH - bruising to her right arm and left leg.

Right arm and left leg, huh ? . . . . sounds like it could have been the famous Mario Milano "Abdominal Stretch"

Someone please inbox me what he has done.

Why would you want to know? This is clearly a private matter. What do you gain? Poor form.

FWIW, Josh dated my cousin for a while. His mum and my aunt know each other and introduced them. They didn’t stay together long term but he always treated her really well and was a pretty down to earth and genuine bloke. I can’t speak for his current relationship at all. By all reports they’ve had an extremely tough 12 months losing twins. Don’t right the guy off until he’s had his day in court because he could be completely innocent.

I’ve got mates in the police and in this day and age even if your neighbour contacts the police with a complaint you and your missus are having a pretty vocal fight, one or the other can end up with a domestic violence charge because the police have to show they’re dealing with these issues.

Unfortunately, it’s also very difficult for police to tell whether it’s just a one off little verbal issue about how you told her you’d do something 6 months ago and can’t believe she’s asking again or whether this may be a relationship that the woman (or man) man be too scared to report a legitimate verbal or physical DV issue. So sometimes they’ll just take the one away that they may believe has the potential to cause harm and let the courts handle the matter.

Completely agree with your point about letting it play out before assigning guilt but the rest of your post about it possibly being nothing, noisy arguments and neighbours seems to be redundant based on the fact that she went down the cop shop to report it.

Wow and heaps of people were blowing up not wanting tetavano at the club Because he beat his mrs, Reynolds was everyone’s favorite

What does everyone think of him now

I think he should be sacked.

he hasn't been convicted yet. Calm down. Yes domestic violence is disgusting and can ruin a victim's life, but let's not downplay the impact it may have on someone being falsely accused. He apparently vigorously defends the charges, let's hear his side and let the facts out before calling for anyone's sacking

Carries a max 5 year gaol term. Its not a stand down offence.

"The NRL chief executive also has the discretion to stand down players facing other serious charges, including violence against women and children."

I don't think he'll be stood down but it's open to do it on the policy (depending upon the exact nature of the allegations and the apparent strength of the evidence when it all comes out).

"The Daily Telegraph questioned Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe about Reynolds being interviewed by the integrity unit two weeks ago. At the time, Pascoe confirmed Reynolds and his manager had been interviewed but denied there was any problem."
