While an extra 750k in the bank would be nice, I got a feeling the club will put him through “counselling”.

We are in areally weird position GNR where we already have plenty in the kitty, just cant seem to be able to get anyone to sign on the dotted line for us. That could change pretty quickly though, more money at this point wont really make a huge diffrence to our cap for 2020 if we cant sign anyone with what we have now. The good thing is his contract is a huge white elephant that the club might be able to be rid of sooner eather than later, might be able to use it to front load contracts and go crazy in 2021.

Can I suggest that the Mods use their discretion and Sticky this Thread until the hearing. Given that no one knows anything and the matter is before the courts, idle speculation ranging from Salary cap opportunism and what defines DV is not going to get to the bottom of it anytime sooner.

Reynolds is scheduled to appear in court on December 18. FOXSPORTS

Guess it's no fault policy until the court case is finalized.

Based off what one forumer has said about this before it broke and the fact Josh himself reported it, I can only assume these are false accusations that he saw coming.

I saw Josh and his partner at the soccer grand final at Lilli Pilli. Both seemed vary nice and approachable. This is very sad for both of them. Perhaps we should take a minute to think about this prior to posting.

She did, 3 months after the alleged incident, and a week after he self-reported to the Integrity Unit. He was charged Wednesday.
This allegation if proven true or false has thrown a spanner in the works.
"At about 2pm on Wednesday, the woman attended St George Police Station to report the alleged attack on September 12. Police say Reynolds attended the same police station later that day at 9.40pm, where he was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm (DV)"

Yes, previous to today, not previous to the allegation being levelled.
