Quick reminder Heroes...

You can be charged with a DV offence for just YELLING at your partner.
I'm sure NONE OF YOU have ever done that before.

A DV offence is not a criminal charge unless the domestic violence order is broken.

Everyone settle. It's a personal matter at this stage and I'm glad both Josh and the club are handling the situation as well as can be suspected. To anyone hoping and getting all excited about the club dropping him so we get more spare cash, pull your heads in. Remember poor Josh and his partner had a real rough situation to get through last year and you don't know what that does to people. Leave it alone I say.

I think you're confusing apprehended domestic violence orders with domestic violence offences. A domestic violence offence is definitely a criminal charge. An apprehended domestic violence order is not a criminal charge, but breaching an apprehended domestic violence order is a criminal charge.

***Former NSW State Origin playmaker Josh Reynolds has been charged by police after allegedly attacking a 29-year-old woman, leaving her with "bruising" on her right arm and left leg.

At about 2pm on Wednesday, the woman attended St George Police Station to report the alleged attack on September 12. Police say Reynolds attended the same police station later that day at 9.40pm, where he was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm (DV).

Wests Tigers released a statement saying they were aware of the charge against Reynolds, who the Tigers said "vigorously denies" the claims.***

That's just the AVO listing. There is also a criminal charge listed on the same day that the AVO will travel with (and there will probably be an interim AVO ordered pending resolution of the criminal charge).
