BREEN shed light on the sequence before the video.

Josh was on the toilet (no2) and on his phone (of course) ex ran up and took his phone off him while on the toilet (which is very provocative in itself ) (Imaging your reaction if your partner did this to you) 😮In addition she accused him of cheating, hence the hilarious convict comment and josh losing the plot.

Lovely chain of events.

Was the video taken when they were both living together in a monogamous relationship?
Was the allegation of cheating by his former partner linked to the use of the mobile phone in the bathroom?
Would that explain the reaction and use of language in the video?

Josh isn’t going to go to gaol regardless of what happened that night. That we can all agree on. However thinking that it’s ok for a male to physically intimidate, strike, threaten to or the other is simply pathetic. Tigers have 2 of them on their team currently.

Agree with you mate.

I think a lot of people don’t know that it’s against the law.

The video doesn’t prove anything. While yelling at her like that isn’t a good look he doesn’t touch her and it’s right after she busted into his house so obviously he’ll be angry. Nothing in it I think.

I don’t even know where to start with this. But hopefully you don’t have a missus or a daughter if you think that this is a normal way to interact

Mate , you keep saying this and no one replied because people do have daughters. And if my daughter has done what this girl has done and the worst thing that happened is him swear at her , and tell her to gtfo , Then I would consider that a lucky escape .
You sound like a huge snowflake. If that language is enough for you to drop your bundle than I don't know what to say.
This , even at its worst , is a bruised arm and a few bad words and hurt feelings . Now the fact that her whole accusation has question marks , throws the whole thing into question .
Yet you still double down on some , weird notion of chivalry.

If you were dating my daughter Or mother or sister (theoretically) and u called her a C word and threatened to assault her, Id chin you.

Lol really ? I'd like to see you try. That's absolutely ridiculous.
A. Thier relationship is none of your business, unless abuse is involved.
B. Especially with the type of language used in Aus (eg. A C bomb can be used as a term of endearment ), having a fight where that type of language is used , considering the circumstances, most reasonable people would say , yea fair enough.
C. Anybody who would openly threaten to belt someone, without considering the whole context , based on a short video , is a joke. I believe you would try to put one on my chin , but find that's about all you would be doing .
Your a joke.

Don't think you need to bring Packer into this - he has paid the penalty for his actions. Let that one go Ace.

So basically she did all this for about $5k? If what Reynolds legal team say is true. Seems a bit OTT for minimal financial gain. The fake ultrasound and fake “Baby weight” as claimed by the lawyer will be interesting. Just from a quick google search u can get fake ultrasounds for $10 apparently. Dunno how you can make your stomach expand to the extent they are claiming however.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I do feel sorry for Josh but he'll come out of it a stronger and wiser person at the end. Just one of life's mistakes that most of us end up in at one stage or another.

The claim on their side is they can verify the pregnancies if that’s the case then the character assassination angle falls apart

That's only part of it. Josh will come out of this ok.

That kinda seems like the big part of their claim.

Part of the claim - don't read into it too much, again, this information the media have obtained - they don't have access to the full brief of evidence. If you have the time, attend the trial at the Downing Centre - should be interesting as one argument is torn to shreds.

I’ve read the police fact sheets. I’ve read about Reynolds teams defence As well. Majority of it will be irrelevant. The biggest hurdle is the video. Regardless of her character, all the current claims by Reynolds defence will have little bearing as it’s irrelevant to the night of the incident

It is relevant to the night of the incident because it casts doubt over whether the night of the incident existed to begin with.

Literally a video, or is that fake as well

Are you Matthew McConaughey?

If you were dating my daughter Or mother or sister (theoretically) and u called her a C word and threatened to assault her, Id chin you.

If that's the normal response, then why didn't her mum and step-dad suggest the same when they were interviewed?

I understand the whole protect the mum and sister thing, I have both. 100% understand it. But there is also an overriding point where you want the best for them, no matter how that comes. If they're addicted to drugs, or fraud in this case, and as a parent, you've been unsuccessful to change that. Then you're probably grateful for those wake-up calls that might eventually be the catalyst to correct it.

They're honestly probably grateful that her actions haven't landed her in more severe trouble.

All this I'm assuming Josh only verbally assaulted her. If he hit her, he should go to jail. But there is going to have to be some pretty damming evidence given the trustworthiness of her character. You say this is unrelated, but its 100% is not if the majority of this case is a "he said, she said".

Meh. I just find the hypocrisy ridiculous. He's saying he's against violence by saying he's going to enact violence for revenge . I get his point of view , just comes across as an idealism we all had when we were 18. Until we all had arguments , where you're called everything and even had things thrown at you, and your idealism starts to be replaced by reality . He's clearly never had a psycho the ex girlfriend .

Your a joke.

Talks big on an anonymous forum. Real tough guy

What about the ex partner's legal representatives investigating if pics were sent from JR's mobile phone around the time that video was filmed?

Sorry I don't understand your point ?

The video doesn’t prove anything. While yelling at her like that isn’t a good look he doesn’t touch her and it’s right after she busted into his house so obviously he’ll be angry. Nothing in it I think.

I don’t even know where to start with this. But hopefully you don’t have a missus or a daughter if you think that this is a normal way to interact

To someone uninvited appearing within your house?

If she wasn’t entitled to be there she would of been charged. He was the one who went to the cops first

You're making an assumption here without knowing the facts - it's not in anyone's best interests to make assumptions in this case.

Supposedly he has read the police statements...

Do you know the difference between witness statements and police fact sheets? I’ll wait while
You google the answer

And yet not a single detail from the Pilice fact sheets

Josh isn’t going to go to gaol regardless of what happened that night. That we can all agree on. However thinking that it’s ok for a male to physically intimidate, strike, threaten to or the other is simply pathetic. Tigers have 2 of them on their team currently.

I think a lot of people don’t know that it’s against the law.

The only reason he’s fighting it is to save his career. If Found guilty He gets a 12 month CCO along those lines

Your first sentence is incorrect.
