Junior Reps 2022

Tigers Vs Bulldogs Harold Matthews and SG Ball will be live streamed through the NSWRL facebook page this Saturday. 2pm kick off for Harold Matthews and SG Ball to follow after it. Good chance to watch some of the Balmain juniors in action!
They're live streamed but are they available on demand later on YouTube etc, or only available live with no replay available later? Anyone know?

Just looked on the NSWRL facebook page and if you click on videos you can see last weeks Panthers Vs Bears Tarsha Gale and also Panthers Vs Sharks Harold Matthews and SG Ball. The week before Roosters Vs Eels is there to watch a replay too.

I expect it should be the same on Saturday and be able to watch the game on there later too.

Well he's a workhorse.
The second rower people liked from the wests game has also been moved to centre, with the young centre that was also discussed pushed out to wing. The left winger was very average on the weekend but not sure that helps Balmain - the centre isn't overly fast so not sure if he'll work on the wing.
The Balmain squad is made up of a lot of big Polynesian boys, playing power game but there's a lack of pace and skill across the 17 which is a tad disappointing.

I noticed the centre that made that big run from round 1 balmain highlights was benched second half of round 2.

Cathane looks really good. Think will make first grade at some point

Balmain unlucky not to get a comeback win in Harold Matthews. Brought it back 22 to 20 and denied a scrum on the siren from 20m out to win it. Ref very slow calling time off, then called time off, before ending the game. No. 12 Keenan Lawandos clear standout!

Yeah i guess you can call it unlucky. Still they let it get out to 22-4. Might not have needed any luck at all if they kept it closer.
He was good.

A very poor performance from the Balmain SG Ball side once again. You simply can't make 20 knock-ons every week and expect to win. Especially when giving away double digit penalties.

Extremely poorly coached side you'd have to think. Just zero discipline, same as last year.

Few standouts, it's hard to stand out when you complete less than 50% of your sets.

That being said if they had any decent halves they still probably win this. The halves are just awful.

Hill extremely strong defensively, defused every kick extremely well but he's no chance to shine in attack. Still quite small. The hooker went pretty well. All the forwards kept dropping the ball. Pretty embarrassing.

Dogs had players with far greater individual talent, their fullback Papali was very dangerous. We just had nothing. Hard to believe this side could easily be on top of the ladder given how poor they've been the past two weeks. They'll get another chance to show they've learnt their lessons in the wet this weekend.
