Kane Evans

I thought he was going to have a whale of a season but he hasn't kicked on like I thought he would. A bit like Vaughn in that respect.

The pack improved this year and has been getting tougher for a few years, but the reality is that they were still 3rd last for metres run so they are still one of the worst packs in the comp when you look at it objectively.

We have far too many small, honest toilers in our squad. Guys like Lovette, Lawrence, Edwards, Halatau and ET. While several of these guys have done a good job for us, you cant have too many of these kinds of blokes in the team at once. Better balance is required.

Defo agree with you re: size. Where can one find stats for metres gained as a team?

Wouldn't say no, he would add some much needed aggressiveness to our pack, not to mention size.

He is the aggresive hard running forward we need. Both woods and grant seem to stumble into the defensive line and then push. He bends the defensive line backwards, at the moment i reckon only Sue gives us that.

We have similar players in NYC: Tatola, Paseka and Sokobalave, but if we must buy one, I would go for N Brown.

He's signed for Parra, so that's not going to happen.

Nrlstats.com has good stats on a weekly basis but they don't aggregate the data. The stats section of NRL.com has stats for all metres run per team but I've never been able to find it from my iPhone - works for PC.

Rugbyleagueproject.org is really good for some old stuff and players playing in international leagues.

He signed for Parra some time ago. Some people are really not well informed.

Evens signed with Parra…?

Nathan Brown did….?

Has that been announced? I have seen talk of it on here but not seen any public announcement. An odd signing if true given their cap problems and their already strong pack.

After the Souths game the other night Adam Reynolds was talking about how it was a shame he was leaving so yeah, it's happening. It's also on MMM as official that Parra have signed Nathan Brown and George Jennings.

Today showed exactly why we need quality big boppers.
We lack quality depth up front and off the bench. Ava is good and Grant is hit & miss but we are at least a quality prop short if we want to compete with the best.

And Brown had the final shot at goal on Thursday.
