I just want our wingers to run hard and straight with the ball and in defensive sets just hold their position

I have been, last year he stopped doing what worked well with the ball. Re defensive side he won’t get better and have accepted that but being a winger with the players inside him doesn’t make life easy no matter who you are

A bit confused about this. His size was his asset, it allowed him to throw himself at the defensive line.

Bit a little slimmer isn't gonna increase your pace that much, it may make him fitter but I don't see many wingers being puffed out.

Have to wait and see but guess to think being fitter as always a positive thing

I think if he's lighter it'll work well for him and the team.

These highlights show how good he can be, he just needs to own the team, and that's a confidence thing with Luke lacks, hopefully Noddy will help he with that.

Criticise Brooks? I’ll leave that to others who have a better understanding of the role and responsibilities off a half.
I know I should be concerned more about if a loss of 7kg will make Ken Maumolo faster or slower, stronger or weaker. Or possibly even fitter?

I think this is the wrong approach for Brooks. I think he makes too many mistakes to own the team. I think he should focus on just playing a good game on his terms going forward.

Criticise Brooks? I’ll leave that to others who have a better understanding of the role and responsibilities off a half.
I know I should be concerned more about if a loss of 7kg will make Ken Maumolo faster or slower, stronger or weaker. Or possibly even fitter?

Ken made a difference when he arrived mid-season and is seemingly happy being here at WT. Looking forward to seeing a lighter and fitter Maumalo as a target for his halves and particularly so in the air with a bit of extra bounce that weight loss allows.

As a winger that doesn't rely so much on speed and still in his prime age wise for these next couple of seasons, hopefully his improved fitness levels will help bring out the very best of Ken over this period. A game changer when playing on song.
