Koro in talks with storm

Every time someone leaves some people say " this will come back to haunt us ". I have yet to see that happen. From Benji, all the players that went to Cronulla and other places, no-one has come back to haunt us. Get over it.

Koro has been going very well in reserve grade. But as anyone who has watched this team, he only started 'going good' when Moses came up from NYC. Mitchell gives his outside backs plenty of room to move and Koro can move when he wants.

Moses will do the same in first grade. He will give Lawrence,
Tedesco, etc plenty of room to do their thing. He should be in firsts next game.

simply not true at all, Moses has been in and out of NSW Cup and Koro has been scoring regardless. Mitch has definitely helped his tally but Koro is doing very well.

His strike rate in the NRL is great too. 4 Tries in his 2nd NRL game is no mean feat, and i doubt mitchell helped him there

He'll be a loss to the team, and im sure hell score a few tries against us in the future but its probably best for him to move on at this point.

Look I'm just throwing it out there but I'm guessing Koroibete isn't on big bucks and maybe because he is playing NSW Cup they can't afford to have someone in this situation when he could earn a lot more from others who are prepared to pay more than the league minimum

Some people in the game think defence is far more important than attack and in the NRL you can't be a defensive liability , no matter how good you are with the ball in hand

Time will tell if Potter / Mayer has got it right

I think you will find it's the other way around. Koro is on big bucks playing reserve grade.

I want to see this a.s.a.p.

then it's good. koro would want an upgrade for next year and if it's a 30 June signing then that means we dont pay koro the big bucks.

once again YOUR mate potter fixing the mess :stuck_out_tongue:

he will kill it at Melbourne. such a shame. who replaces patty on the wing when he retires?

Yeh just like Jnr Moors eh?

Who knows, he needs to get his defense right - he needs a hell of a lot of work to go before he can be a complete footballer as it stands right now he is utterly useless half the time

I understand many are blinded by the speedy flashy trys…thats only half the game

He is unique in a way and I wish we couldve given him the extra tutoring he needs

18 months is a long time…

They do have delouise hoeter, who is still in the 20s. He was a standout last year. Returns from injury soon.

They have signed him up for a while?

Not fussed. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, and may well end up being a star, but just as likely to remain a fringe first grader that really shines when playing at a lower level.

Great start from him, but that was partially nullified very quickly and more so than most newcomers, by opposition coaches and players. Little doubt that Tedesco staying is much better for the club and leaves us fairly tight in our cap limit, so no choice anyhow.

Getting rid of 1 of the fastest (if not the fastest) players in the nrl. Apart from our new look forward pack, he was the only other with so much aggression in his runs. I would take Koro over half the side any day.

Always was injuried didn't help him stay in First grade, very injury prone

Couldn't catch Bombs, or line up in defence correctly. sounds like a Melborune Storm winger right now perfect!

2016 could look like this:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Hoeter
3\. Simona
4\. Seve
5\. Nofoaluma

There's also Milone, Wheelhouse, Satterthwaite and numerous others.

Mmm… Well John Grant was supposedly faster and now he's back in Shute Shield rugby.

I said it before that Rowe can be our own hiku.

He has the ticker of a first grader and can play wing and fullback. I think he will be a good addition once he fills up more next year.

Obviously he's no koro but he's a decent back up option for wing and fullback IMO.
