The club is not responsible for him being found in this situation. This expectation that clubs are meant to hold the hands of their players at all times so they don't wind up in the proverbial is both unfair and unrealistic.
If he is found guilty and the club sack him, he has no one to blame but himself. I think he can be of some use this year though and he still has improvement so I hope he's kept on, especially since we're rather thin in experienced second rowers.

1\. Lovett was caught in possession of a prohibited substance (drug).
2\. The member never informed his employer .. so he with-held information from his employer.
Leaves the club with no other option:
1\. He gets the SACK, the club shouldn't feel any remorse in sacking him.
2\. The club will do the best they can to help him get rehabilitated.
3\. He is to have NO contact to the rest of the squad.
Get rid of him .. drug uses and dealers are not good for anyone in and around professional sporting team.
Pack ya bags, onya bike, bye, bye Kyle Lovett.

I don't think the club was aware of the Lovett charges. If true he was asked to look elsewhere his manager would have known well before it leaked. I believe he made a mistake and then found out he was being shopped elsewhere and was scared to disclose it. He doesn't deserve to be sacked for one mistake but as a business he is expendable.

^Lovett is on big money?? I find that hard to believe really. If he is then our previous administration was stupider than what people give them credit for.
