OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Galvin has great fitness and enthusiasm and that impossible to coach instinct to throw the cut out ball or to take the player on at the right time. He is far more assured than Brooks ever was. Even out of form this year, he's a lot better than Brooks just in his willingness to take the game on.

It's a messy transition to the Dogs, but, like many players who leave us, I think it will work out well for him at the Dogs as much as that pains us.

We rarely have the momentum in games and it's hard for halves to look good in that situation. It will be interesting to see how he goes at the Dogs. I agree with most here that he's more a second rower/ 5/8 type than a halfback, but we'll see.

I just wouldn't be getting hopes up about it all not working. It was lovely to see it happen with Woods, but I don't think it happens like that for Galvin.

I swear I had read that Parra wanted to get rid of him and they paid the tigers to take him...

Maybe I misunderstood
Parra told him he wasn’t in their plans as they had Blaize, Dylan, Ethan Sanders all at the club in front of him (which all ending up leaving anyway bit funny lol) and instead of just releasing him they slapped a $5000 transfer fee on top of it. His dad begged many clubs to take him on including the dogs which didn’t, ended up asking tigers to take him on and told us he would pay the fee for his son but we paid it in good faith. He never deserved it.

Ahhh got ya
That's probably where I got my wires crossed.

watch the video - AD wishing him the best and then Terrell did the same thing
I actually believe that he and Lachy may have become close through the process after watching Terrell's press conference.

Terrell doesn't seem like a bloke who has the ability to lie on camera he's a pretty straight shooter.

Which makes me even more curious as to what happened with bullying...

Was it potentially a former English player??

well, I hope you're right... if they're that close though then he should have been in TM's vlog joking around but then again maybe LG does not like the camera... oh well good luck to LG but I hope he gets smashed (legally) playing against us 😆

We don't know what position he will excel at but it will happen and probably sooner than later now he's at a top 4 team.
What gets under our skin as Tigers supporters is why do they feel the need to desert their junior club so quickly and take the easy path there is not enough loyalty coming from a lot of these young dudes anymore.

There would be a lot more satisfaction all sticking together and dragging their club out of the doldrums and up the ladder, they just don't seem up for the fight.
Think we need to find the ones that do and make them our priority, yeah I know not as easy as it sounds, can't always believe what players say when money is involved.
Maybe because they were all only just out of nappies the last time we made the finals and all theyve seen from WTs is disaster after disaster

I hear ya when you say stick together work hard to achieve something special but it seems this generation want everything now

Society values have changed a lot from last century it is now more me first unfortunately.
Think the club needs someone with the role to look over the junior grades that can sniff out the talented but loyal kids not much point in keeping ones that show signs of using the club up, not an easy task that's for sure, won't be applying for the job too F hard lol.
