With the details we have so far, I think it's the wrong decision to drop him.

I take it back if the whole thing about him not rating Benji as a coach or if he's been bad mourning the club is true, then it's the right decision.

The details are that Luai and Api recommended it to Benji. It makes his place in the side untenable.

Basically there was a meeting last week with.Moses Galvin and Richardson where they informed Richardson not to even bother giving the offer because they felt that Benji's as a coach was not progressing Lachy and hence they will no intention of committing to the club further once contract expires

They should have sacked Benji on the spot and appointed one of Moses’ clients as coach

If the manager said it to the tigers CEO, then who cares where it came from. It was communicated as the reason he wants to leave so the tigers are able to share that publicly imo.

The point is if that is the case then let him leave the club and not drop him for 2 years because he had the temerity to not sign

Except the club isn’t really to blame in this instance. They’re dealing with a family of money hungry grubs and a POS player manager. Not much they can do. And for once, to my surprise, I don’t think the club will be perceived as the bad guy. That says a lot.

Theres a deal to be done..and Richo is just the person to negotiate on our behalf

Didn't the Tigers play Parramatta a transfer fee to get young Lachie out of his deal because he wasn't progressing at the Eels. Apparently, no-one can progress Lachie's career as he or his family sees fit? Talk about bite the hand that feeds you!

According to his manager, he has said it. The manager then communicated this with Richo. Otherwise why would the manager communicate this?

Even the fox journo’s have confirmed that Moses has been briefing the media for months about the decision being based on coaching so it’s definitely coming from the Galvin camp.

Reality is whilst Galvin will be very special he’s not there yet, Doueihi has more experience and is simply better atm. There is no need for Galvin to be first in line anymore. He is still a great back up and we shouldn’t release him unless we receive a gun player or a young gun with buckets of potential in return.
