OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Dont agree, use him for the benefit of he club. Be professional we need to keep winning. But with the future in mind.
It's round 7.. I reckon see how the team goes the next 3 weeks without him and then make a decision, that way the club makes there point at the same time we have him in our back pocket, and if in 3 weeks time it all turns to sh.t we dust him off smack his ass and send him out there too perform for his next potential home . Of course if he looks like he's throwing game with stupid plays back to reserve grade and or trade.

We actually chat on email.

Have had multiple interactions with him.

But thanks for the insult.

Happy Easter.
Mate you weren't insulted. ' Peanut gallery ' isn't an insult. Every one understands you have the best intentions but the idea of emailing a CEO of any experience let alone a career rugby league administrator tid bits of advice is pretty funny.
Admittedly I don't know your employment background. However I'm assuming it's vastly different to Richo. Because the suggestion of having a semi permanent skeleton key to another clubs developmental roster; one I have no clue how that could be enforced As theres far too many people involved in agreeing. But secondly it is so dumb for a business that the only club that would ever do that is Tigers before Richo.

I get it mate,,, but they could get player X anyway with all the money they already have ..,the extra $500k doesn’t change that … the issue seems to be that the players aren’t available, or want to come here
I disagree. Look at the signings in the last 12 months.

Not to mention the new CBA does not allow pre top 30 players a chance to sign with a new club until round 6 of their final contract year.

Listening to James Graham podcast he said thayyGalvin could have a case of workplaces harassment which can force him out of contract legally does Thai have any truth to it?

So one of the dossier dot complaints was:

"The first related to a wrestling session, from which Galvin was removed by Marshall after five minutes. It was Marshall’s way of looking after his star player, a young playmaker who didn’t need to get involved in the grubby stuff at the ruck.

Moses, however, claimed that Marshall’s gesture was detrimental to his client’s development, arguing he needed the additional time at the wrestling session to improve the defensive aspect of his game. It was an accusation that left staff at the Tigers scratching their heads."
If that's number 1, what are the rest? Can't get a decent latte at the COE?

So the Eels and Bulldogs both suddenly release players this week -how dumb do the media think the NRL public are?
Two club shoot out - what anti tampering ?
And the RPLA want to talk about a playing being bullied who has been treated like a superstar for the last two seasons and who's manager demanded a release last season when Luai was signed and now lists 7 grievances with the coach.
I hope Richardson goes in all guns blazing.

Just watched a snippet of Backdoors nrl360 interview. Boy oh boy, what an imbecile he is. It was like watching a little Moses puppet bumbling and babbling about Galvin and how great he is, yet basically contradicting everything he was trying to say. He even bombed his first point, Galvin has done nothing wrong and Anasta shot him down straight away. Galvin spoke out negatively about Benji is that ok. The NRL aren't selling the game well by allowing fools like Backdoor anywhere near the media. Basically a dodgy self interested fool with a low IQ being a puppet for a dodgy player manager. I wonder if Isaac watched and cringed? My guess probably not, because he will get what he wants in the end.

James Graham is always a bit dramatic
From the guy who donated $10,000 for Bulldogs supporters to attend the final last season and defended same club to the hilt when they were accused of maltreatment of Topine. He never looks at things through unbias eyes especially if the kid lands in a blue and white jersey after all this.

The RLPAs responsibility is to the overall welfare and development of the player, during their career and after.

They wouldn't be doing the right thing by him as a young man, pulling him out of the West's Tigers environment for a situation he and his management team created. They are teaching him it's OK to stir up shit then run away when the going gets tough.

It also sets the precedent that you can talk sh1t about your coach and use it as a way to get out of your contract, because the club isn't allowed to react.

At the end of the day, this is a trial by media, which is why I have said we need to be seen to punish Turuva (again, I don't agree with it).

What should happen and what will probably happen, given the trial by media, are two different things.

Facts:
- Galvins management told Richo he doesn't want to be at the club long term

- The sacking of Galvin to KOE can be positioned as a strategic decision, that we don't need to spend our time developing a player who doesn't see his future at the club, he's 19 and playing in a lower grade will actually do him good whilst we focus on the club's long term strategy. A player can't demand to play first grade, look at Jackson Hastings.

- Benji bent over backwards to accommodate Galvin, making 4 time premiership winner take a back seat to a 19 year old rookie.

- Galvin said he wanted to address the playing group.

- The only potential bullying is the social media post by Turuva. The post from Luai aligns with the "team first" that the team was speaking about in the pre season documentary and whilst we all know it was a jab, it's too long a bow because there was nothing about Lachlan himself..

- Galvin has been dropped to NSW Cup for just one game. This isn't bullying. You could say that him giving away 7 tackle sets and the ball on zero tackle vs the Knights is enough of a reason for us to try another angle.

- This "mental health" is Lachy ok bullshit is the doing of his parents and manager. The Tigers are not responsible for the media circus that's occured. They chose to play their hand so the Tigers reacted.

Again, it's trial by media, Richo knew this would happen when they released the original statement.

I feel like I'm repeating myself alot here.. it's just frustrating that there are people on the "save Lachlan" bandwagon when he and his management are the ones who created this mess in the first place.

I really like the support we have from Braith and Gordy on NRL 360.

Channel 9 on the other hand seem to be camp Moses.

It's sad we have been put in this position, when really he should just have to see out his contract in the KOE or however Benji and Richo see fit.

Totally agree it was embarrassing, loved him as a player, however he is not a reflection of the WTS supporter base, hence is a terrible ambassador

On what grounds? Being asked if he wanted to address the playing group? The group telling him to stop talking because they didn't want to hear it? Social media posts from the players? None of them said anything personally, yes Galvins bag was in the post but piss weak if that's the case. Next time i see M Moses tear a team mate a new 1 on the field l, I'll be sure to report it to the RLPA. How about Graham smashing Burgesses cheak bone in the GF, that's assault. Graham needs to get real
