Brown would actually be a gun centre i reckon. His strength is running game and can defend really well. If we had him to play centre I'd be for that but obviously wouldnt happen.

100% agree; I also think he's lower grade rocks n diamonds compared to Galvout.
One of their bench players might be of interest though. Was it 17 who had a good game against on the weekend?

Until, as Richo also mentioned he is no longer interested in playing football. I don’t think that will be the case with him but who knows with what could happen in a few months time. This won’t stop until July. Afterwards we’ll have a period of peace until maybe Christmas when Galvin may or may not choose Parramatta for 27.

I said as much as well. It's why I am really hopeful they enforce his contract.

Your right totally forgot about that, though I found it strange that Manly who people here and in the media tipped to have a good go at him have just dropped interest, wonder if it because they already know once its resolved one way or the other he's already got a gig at Parramatta.
 

Today's podcast with Chammas & Weidler, both still arguing how Richo has inflamed this whole situation through his emotion.

Interesting new bit of info that apparently there is a process the clubs have got to go through when demoting players lower than NSW Cup and they said that 'allegedly' the Tigers didn't go through that process with Tumeth & Matamua and why all of the sudden Matamua is back in Cup.

If true, then Betsey & Benji have a bit to answer to Richo about in terms of following process but it may well be part of the Benji smear campaign.

I would say what coaches & players would have to do like a HR performance management plan where it is documented why they are being demoted, what they need to work on and what KPIs they need to meet to return to NSW Cup or NRL.

Maybe it’s because getting an early release seems a remote possibility?
He can’t go anywhere until the end of next year

Article informs readers it was Tumeth's manager who made a complaint to the RLPA.


The Sydney Morning Herald have since ammended their report to instead say Tumeth's manager made the complaint to the RLPA, while the RLPA independently raised concerns directly with the Tigers in relation to Matamua's treatment.

Because imo it's the father pushing this, he couldn't live his dream to play for Parramatta in first grade, so he's going to live his dream through his son.

Very interesting, but why do you think Benji is to blame for the demotion? He picks a 22 from his top 30 or available cover players. Following that Aaron Payne picks his best 18/19 players for cup. Is it because they are top 30 players it is Benjis responsibility to monitor their progress with this new process?
Blame maybe is more to Richo for not providing a suitable staff member for this task or Betsy.
Isn’t Betsy covering 2 roles as the moment, i think there is still a gap there and it may also be in our best interest to get in a head of football that is experienced in that job.
My preference would actually be for Richo to step across into that role and we appoint a more business minded football CEO. More of a filet than a rump steak, leaving Richo to focus solely on what is needed to run a football team and pathways.

I would argue that the situation is inflamed a lot more with these clowns writing multiple crap articles a day about it.
