That will be insane. We offered him huge overs. There's no way he's going for same money or less. They have offered him or will offer him more than brown.

A few years ago I was told about a player manager not passing on the correct offer from a club because the manger wanted the player to go to another club for unders to help the coach out which was his clientRefused to look at/acknowledge a 6 mill contract that involves weeks of work involving sponsors legal teams and then no courtesy of at least taking the GMs calls after the club has rolled out the red carpet for their son with a long-term view of building a club a team around him - ok yep Ive formed a view.
I know Mitch was a Holy Cross junior in school footy but did he play in the Parra comp or Balmain comp in weekend football? But Mitchell Moses is a similar story and played some junior football with Parramatta and wanted to stay there but was let go and came to play for the Wests Tigers.
Like Galvin's father and family, Mitchell's old man is reported to be a long time Parramatta supporter.
Can you see some similarities here and understand how these things can end up happening?
Majority of it was with Hills Bulls I think Parra comp...I know Mitch was a Holy Cross junior in school footy but did he play in the Parra comp or Balmain comp in weekend football?

Heavy security and a strict gag order dominated dumped Tigers star Lachlan Galvin’s demotion to NSW Cup on Easter Monday.
Galvin, who played in Western Suburbs’ 22-10 loss to Parramatta at Lidcombe Oval, had his own personal security guard for the entire day and refused to speak with the media.
He was chaperoned from the car park to dressing rooms, onto the field, and back into the sheds after fulltime.
The rising star even snuck out a back door behind the Lidcombe Oval dressing rooms to avoid media questions.
All Wests Magpies staff and players were instructed to avoid any media interviews. Even Galvin’s father, James, who attended the game, refused to speak with the reporters.
A security guard put his arm around Galvin walking to the dressing rooms post-game.
The 19-year-old defended on the left wing and tried to involve himself in attack. His kicking game was solid and he set up a late try, but his performance was modest in a losing side.
Late in the game, Galvin threw a lovely long ball to winger Izaac Tu’itupou, who scored a try.
Galvin received some light applause when his name was read to the 500-strong crowd pre-game.
He high-fived young fans as he walked off at halftime.
“I reckon he will be in first grade in one to two weeks,” said former Magpies hooker and current Wests board member Allan Fallah.
“I think he will see out his contract. People should just leave him alone.”
Galvin left the field at fulltime with a handful of fans yelling: ‘Well played Lachie’.
He played five-eighth after being dumped to NSW Cup by Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall in consultation with his senior player group.
Playing before such a small yet passionate Magpies crowd was a long way from the massive numbers which filled CommBank Stadium for Monday’s NRL game between Wests Tigers and the Eels.
It would have been interesting to see how many Wests Tigers NRL players turned up to watch Galvin in the NSW Cup had they not been playing on the same day.
The Galvin saga started earlier last week when he rejected a five-year extension, plus upgrades, worth $6m.
Through his manager Isaac Moses, Galvin refused to even consider Wests Tigers offer.
Galvin was taunted on social media by teammates last week, prompting his management to fire off a legal letter to Wests Tigers alleging Galvin had been bullied and the club wasn’t providing a safe working environment.
While Wests Tigers have stated Galvin will play out his contract at Concord until after the 2026 season, it is becoming more likely he will seek and be granted an early release.
Galvin told the club he wasn’t progressing as a player under Marshall’s tuition. Parramatta continues to be strongly linked to Galvin along with the Bulldogs, Roosters and Sea Eagles.
Some clubs have publicly denied interest in Galvin but the landscape quickly changes in rugby league.
Marshall claimed he was “shocked” and “disappointed” at Galvin’s desire to leave Wests Tigers.
Parramatta’s NSW Cup side included established NRL players Ryan Matterson and Bryce Cartwright.
I think it's the case because they have agitated so hard. That could only be to get them out and into the big contract earlyThat will be insane. We offered him huge overs.
I remember a similar story, can’t remember who though.A few years ago I was told about a player manager not passing on the correct offer from a club because the manger wanted the player to go to another club for unders to help the coach out which was his client
The player in the end found out and to keep it hush hush had to cough up the difference
Don't let Parra know that, the club should be talking him up, how important he is, how much we will really need him. Let Parra pay him 2 million a year for the next 10 years and completely destroy their salary cap. That will be insane. We offered him huge overs.

Happens all the time, there are managers notorious for doing it, basically they will get one client signed on a decent contract that a club doesn't even want, just so the manager can get him a gig somewhere, on the condition the manager helps the club land a bigger fish they want. So the manager will do everything in their power to make it happen, demand overs from a club the player might want to join, cause problems with clubs. Hide offers for the player. Sometimes the manager will get offers from clubs they know the player doesn't want to join, like us 4 years ago. They'll go to the player and say club A are offering overs, if you go you'll be paid well but won't win anything. Then they say club B is offering less but has a better set up, is more stable and I would recommend it for your career. That club being the one who helped get the first player off the managers books, the manager then does whatever they can to convince the player to sign with them. Other thing they do that's really sneaky is when Isaac Moses was suspended for the Parramatta salary cap scandal, his companies clients, while they were in negotiations with their agents talking to clubs, Moses was the one in those meetings running the negotiations, he would just use the other manager he employs for the signature. Even though he was banned. N.R.L knew, they did nothing, the clubs wernt going to complain or they'd lose access to his clients. It was a huge farce.A few years ago I was told about a player manager not passing on the correct offer from a club because the manger wanted the player to go to another club for unders to help the coach out which was his client

I can understand if his mum doesn't want to potentially cop abuse and see her kid get booed.Just reading an article stating that Mrs Galvin won't be attending the game on sunday. "Such great people", F.uck me. With everything their son is going through, what hope does the poor kid have. Any parent would move heaven and earth to support their kids.
