Crossing fingers that we don't sign LM tomorrow ... cos it's Friday 13th!

If we do make he do a press conference while wearing a hockey mask.

Not sure I agree with our stance of "you call us first"...

He knows we'll sign him
We know we'll sign him

Why bother playing games? Who are we kidding? We should just pick up the phone and ask them what the story is...

We shouldn't cut off our nose to spite our face.

Jason......

Lots of people saying we shouldn’t sign Latrell because we aren’t his first option and we should only signing him if he wants to come here......it’s like being stranded on an island with Margot Robbie, a few days in she wants you to take her to bed and you say no because she doesn’t love you enough.

Hagipantelis as reported yesterday by NRL.com

"I think the Tigers are in the midst of an exciting transformation," Hagipantelis said.

"Mediocrity is no longer part of our vocabulary, we are demanding success of ourselves in every respect and every level on and off the playing field so I think it is an incredible opportunity for any talented player to join what is already a very talented roster and advance not only themselves but the team and the club as well.

"I’m assuming something is going to have to happen with Latrell because if I read the reports correctly he will not be playing at the Roosters so he has to consider what his options are and what is best for him and his family.

"He’ll take his time and he will make the best decision for himself and his family."

Yeah around on the other beach might be 2 less stunning actresses we can get for the same effort as Margot!

Yep. Or you and Margot could get to the other side of the island and there might be two male models over there and your services are no longer required.

What if we signed em all and rolled out with...

1 Latrell
2 Addo-Carr
3 Gagai
4 Alex Johnson
5 Nofo

Posted on Clarkeys facebook page an hour ago.......not sure what to make of this ?.. he's quoting tigers chairman saying that they **WILL** sign Latrell in 2020 onwards and rubbishing the tigers saying they have the worst management and negotiation skills :O

The Wests Tigers have the worst management and negotiating skills of any club within the NRL. Two weeks ago they hard-balled Latrell Mitchell, removing their $1 million dollar per season offer. Now they are set to re-open negotiations with a starting offer of $1.1 million dollars.
_
I wouldn’t have a clue how to run mechanical repairs on a car, on a treadmill, or anything that requires common skills a lot of people should have. Regardless, even I know the Tigers stink at negotiations and have gotten it wrong on multiple occasions this decade.
_
Heighington, Laffranchi, Farah, Halatau, Marshall, Prince, Ellis, Tuqiri, Fifita, Murdoch-Masila, Woods, Tedesco, Sironen, Koroibete, Brown, Moses, Addo-Carr, Suli, Papenhuyzen, Marsters and Matterson.
_
The above is a list of great players the club has released that went on to have great success at rival clubs.
_
**Tigers chairman Lee Hagipantelis has confirmed the club will sign Latrell Mitchell from the 2020 season onwards.** He also said Roosters chairman Nick Politis is open to this, although that remains to be confirmed.
_
Bringing Mitchell in is obviously a great decision, however the timing is absolutely poor. Why pull your initial offer of $1 million per season when you offered it knowing full well he was talking with other clubs?
_
“We are actively in the market considering a number of options that are available to us and if Latrell is to be one of those options he is more than welcome to reach out to us,” Hagipantelis said.
_
“I have spoken to Nick Politis and I don’t have any doubt (Latrell would be released, effective immediately), I am sure Nick would be supportive of that.”
_
The signing of Latrell is not in question. I believe that is a great move for the Concord based club. Despite this, they have once again shown they stink as business and will be forced to increase their original offer.
_
💬Would Latrell be the Tigers best singing in the club’s history?
