I find it hard to believe folks are still buying into it.....

Mr Pascoe believes it’s a false story that Souths are leaking to make the cap situation plausible

I have Direct correspondence to confirm this. Before you again say I’m lying

So he's still going to souths?

Mr Pascoe is of the belief he will take Souths offer over tigers. If the tigers weren’t sitting on their hands in regards to JAC that situation could perhaps sway LM. It’s all very weird.

Please elaborate?
So we’re not going hard for JAC and still waiting on LM to come to us?
WTF are we doing?

Lol if we are doing nothing in regards to JAC, I'm done.

Can someone please paste the Australian article?

The Australian article was just the same article (word for word) from the Daily Telegraph.

Thanks

This is true, but LM’s bad days are better than CT’s best days.

What nonsense ! I recall a one off test at the end of 2018 against the Kiwis in which LM opposed Joey Manu. It was a tight game. The Kiwis scored three tries and won the match.

For the first try Manu beat LM pointless and scored. For the second try LM couldn't close down Manu and he put the winger over. For the third try LM, under no pressure dropped the ball on the half way line and the Kiwis went six tackles and scored.

After the match I was trying to remember when I last saw an Australian player singlehandedly lose a test for Australia.

LM has been underwhelming in representative matches. The difference between his best and worst performances is substantial. He is no Messiah !

Your opinion and its facts.

Latrell is a flop in the big games.

As we saw in origin and when he played for Oz.

I thought Wests Tigers only made one offer, then later withdrew it.

On 28th November Sun Herald quoted..
“We have a responsibility to our club first and foremost and to our fans," Tigers chief executive Justin Pascoe said.
“Having an offer like that sit on the table, those funds are committed until the offer is taken up or withdrawn. After a period of time, we have to make a decision in the best interests of the club, which we did today.“
Are you saying there was never another offer made to Mitchell in all of the following 6 weeks?
Just media bs?
Possible?
Where does your info come from?

All good champion twentyforty, I just stated what I'd read.

Mate, the article heading was .. Wests Tigers withdraw offer to Mitchell, shift focus to Addo-Carr.
I would much prefer Addo-Carr. He seriously wants to be the best winger in the nrl. Has a solid work ethic, probably from spending time with uncle Wally? Is a positive influence on the team.

**So Roosters waive 200k in fees if LM signs with us
That's 500k-600k he'd lose in 2020 by signing with Souths
Still reckon we can get him, hopefully Madge and Pascoe are taking advantage of the situation**
The next 7 days should be pretty interesting
We just really need that 1 marquee signing to get the ball rolling. If we can sign LM you'd think that would all but guarantee JAC as well who will be granted a release at the end of 2020 at the latest
Plus COE next year with a tonne of cap money to spend

With all that advantage to us it would be pretty poor result if he didn't sign, but he seems to be doing everything but sign with us.

We have said we are not calling him again...

Modern players won't do the begging.....we should be on the phone and proactive.

Imagine if the Clippers sat there and said 'Kawhi can call us if he wants to chat'?

All these agents follow the American model. I don't necessarily subscribe to it, but it is reality.

Pick up the phone, be aggressive...sell the Tigers message...sell us as a place a player would want to come...

Don't just say 'well, they can call us if they want'.

LM knows we're interested and he knows what we're willing to pay.
Tigers need to be careful of how a too desperate approach could harm them in future player negotiations. If players and their agents look at tigers management and think 'if we keep on rejecting their offers they'll just come back with a better one', then good luck getting fair value in the future. We'll forever be used as a bargaining tool for players wanting to play hard ball and pump their value to sign elsewhere..
Gotta draw a line in the sand somewhere and I think the club has done everything they need to in regards to the situation

While tigers have 2-3 spots and 1.7 mil in cap space the offer will be there. It’s when they fill those spots that the offer goes away

What ? That's exactly what happened ! And when he cancelled the meeting twice , with Madge , the offer was pulled . That is fact . Stated by the club , several times . But keep inventing new chronology in your head .

Mitchell showed no self discipline last year. If he had played a blinder in 2020 for the roosters he may have got a couple of games at FB to remind other clubs of his ability. Possibly would have landed a 4 year deal with big bucks, then bought out the neighbouring farm.

We offered the fool a cracking 4 year deal haha I think he always wanted to play at south’s his family are fanatical south’s fans

Latrell deal was done today with Souths. Very reliable source 650k this year and 800k next year.

Pretty crap deal after all he went through.

If so, looks like Roosters got their $150k back off Latrell and Latrell got his $800k contract. Good deal all round. Except Mitchell still owes Bennet $55k he gave to Ruston.

That’s correct, but LM drove all the way to Coffs for dinner with Rusty... clearly LM had no interest in the WT...
