@GNR4LIFE if we miss out on him now it will make us look like complete imbeciles. We’ll be even more of a laughing stock than we already are.

sorry, I disagree - we look imbeciles for trying? I don't get it. So it's better not to try at all and then save face at least?

And don't take any crumbs from south's

Limit how much they can offer LM than he stuffs himself over financially for stuffing us around

That is of course if all rumors are true

Bigsiro, we've signed some very exciting talent and this appears to be a proactive and strategic approach to rebuild the club from within. We have a very capable manager of football whom is ex Roosters. We have a premiership winning coach and I believe we made a profit. We also have a high profile chairman from a leading law firm which happens to sponsor NSW. We have heard nothing from the club which has been consistent all the way through with signings. The media can print their stories but taking all this into account, I have confidence in or club.

@Ponyo No mate. It's because we were mismanaged for nearly a decade.
We need to prove otherwise first.

@matchball we've got nothing to prove.

if nothing happens by wed , I think the tigers need to put there foot down and give him a dead line, he cant keep waiting for other clubs to come knocking at his door either he comes or he is told pee of.

Make the deadline Wednesday

If he doesn't take it announce it to media we have pulled our offer

Rabbits can than massively drop their offer and he loses out

Deadlines never end well for the party setting them.

@4jtigers Not at all. Absolutely try. But don't go on the record saying how bad you want him unless you're bloody certain he's coming.

ok - then I might have missed something - who went on record saying that we want him so bad? was it the new CEO (don't know how to spell his surname... lol)? I thought he said LM would be a good signing to any club... I do apologise if I'm wrong

The irony in all this is could be we miss Mitchell , then not be able to find any quality players then not spend our 94% of the cap and get fined again

The only consistent feature of this whole drama is that the Chooks are still reported to be saying he won't be released to Souths in 2020 but he can be released and join anyone else for 2020 and beyond. If that's still true, a move to the Bunnies starting next year won't be possible. Does he cop it sweet and hang around, maybe playing CC for another year in a club that doesn't seem to want him there and join the Bunnies in 2021 assuming they have the cap space then to accommodate him or does he take our offer now while it's still on the table.

being a professional footballer you would think he would choose the money and footy over sitting in reserves. I reckon he will have a chip on his shoulder about getting shafted from both the roosters and the blues in one year.

He would make any club better, obviously some more than others due to current playing stocks, and if you have the money and opportunity you would be negligent as management of a club if you didn't have a go at adding him to the team.

So this is what a forum meltdown looks like eh... .. Lots of "I said last week.... Blah ah blah", wrist slitting and quitting, deadlines and ultimatums.. . Off-season amusement

@4jtigers "We want Latrell at the tigers next year, there's no doubt about it," Hagipantelis said.

oh no - whoopsy time! - well I guess everyone would want him but you're right - that looks bad - hopefully LM does sign... I couldn't care less really if he does sign or doesn't

all I care is that for those that have signed, they signed with the right frame of mind - that is they want to play for the club and coach, not just because of the money

u like me m8? just sitting in the back eating popcorn..watching everything unfold

All the people saying to give him a deadline for the next 2 days are clueless. I seem to remember Ivan gave Tedesco and woods a 48 hour deadline and they were gone within minutes.
