i really don't want him, he has made it very clear we are not his 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice side . so if he does sign its only for the money and the fact no one else can afford him. do we really want a $1 million dollar player who really does not rate us, I doubt it, let him rot in his own mess ,I say.

3 business days, 5 max next week before break-up holidays. Return the 7th. Very little time for releases, negations & signings.

At NRL level its not a game, it's a business. No one is going to pay you to go out and have fun. You need to train, eat, sleep, treat other people and even party like its critical to your next paycheck.

Thanks Kul!

Sanity prevails.

Some people need to understand this is a forum about a footy club. If you want intellectual debate, head over to the souffs forum, i hear its full of Mensa members.

Would you be concerned about his motivation for signing if he got us to the grand final?

If Souths can not get Arrow for a year they will have a ton of cap space and 12 months to pull another medical retirement or move a player or two on. I would imagine they are odds on at this stage to get LM and we are very long odds

Of course you'd think that. You’re a pessimist

Mate, you told us weeks ago that first graders told you he wasn't coming, so why are you concerning yourself.

Bit harsh GNR .....If the report in regards to Arrow not being released by the titans until 2021 is true the rabbitohs at worst are at least equal favourites

Claiming without evidence that Souths will pull another medical retirement isn't pessimistic?

Hats off to the Titans for holding their ground although it could come back to bite us in the butt.

The medical retirement is a moot point as far as I'm concerned if the claims on Arrow are correct

Re Arrow...Titans are still negotiation with him. Thus, their "we have no plans to release him, we want to sign him long term" quote is completely expected.

i.e. purely rhetoric.

That will likely change completely once / if he signs for Souths.

We might as well give up then

woah is us. The forum motto.

Personally I hope we throw as much money as we have to get him. Entering into the 2020 season with only one first grade signing (Leilua) and front loading contracts would be unacceptable imo.

Who said that ....

I'm only pointing out the Arrow stuff only came out today

Maybe that means Latrell has made a decision and informed the Titans of that decision

Point I'm making it certainly changes the whole recruitment chess board ...maybe good ....maybe bad

Time will tell

I like the idea but how many players of LM's caliber would have West's in their top 5 playing destinations?? The only attractive thing they have at the moment is the availability to pay well over market value.

I think the club has to pay (way) overs for a few and hopefully success will attract others.
