Laurie is the best fullback in the Club and in the top 3 talent wise..

Only young and will get better. ...IMO.

He puts himself in the right position a lot ..I feel he's just been a bit unlucky with half-breaks ..just needs a bit more bounce of the ball luck to shine on him...

The problem is he has some absolute superstars in the same position ..easily along with hooker the strongest position in the nRL ..and Liddle also suffers in comparison .....

Safe as any fullback in the comp under the high ball but I still think he looks like he would be better at 5/8. He plays his best footy up in the line.

He’s safe without being super spectacular imo

Few defensive errors in his game, and looks kinda clueless in general play sometimes

Definitely the best #1 at the club though

But if each side picked their best 1 ......is Laurie in the top 10 ??

And then sometimes your defensive issues can be from a lack of experience at organizing a defensive line at the top level

Not saying he is the issue .....but .....as a defender you have to trust the 1 to the highest degree

I am not that keen on him atm pretty safe at the back ..needs a bit more weight and it is hard to evaluate as there are some very average types around him .With a good off season a couple of kilos and some different types around him it could be a very different player.
