An MRI scan today has confirmed Wests Tigers centre Chris Lawrence is expected to miss between 4-5 weeks with a hamstring injury.
The resultsof the MRI scan showed a low grade 2 tear in the right leg.
Lawrence suffered the injury on his way to setting up the match winning try for Beau Ryan in the thrilling 16-14 victory over St George Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night.
The talented centre was playing just his eighth match this season after overcoming a dislocated hip injury suffered in round 3 against Canberra.

Geez, we just can't take a trick. I dont think there has been another team that has had to overcome such injury problems in the last few years. Just as we start to get on a roll we lose another gun. Same thing happened during finals last year. Has there been a week where we haven't had an injury? We are due for some luck….
