While Taylor was wrong to not put Lawrence there I think Richards reading of the play cost us the first 2 tries on that side. While Whare got on the outside of Lovett he was still going to make the tackle but Richards comes in. The third was all Lovetts fault.

I'd speculate Simona has had an ankle problem for weeks and Lovett was the sacrificial lamb today. We should have had a specialist centre on the interchange as insurance.

yes… it seems like we are playing the fantasy game where we can either wind back the clock 5 yrs, or we pretend the modern Lawrence wasnt the worst centre in the competition.
