Talau played well. It's all experience. He will hit the sprints in the off season. McIntyre was outstanding.

Benji set up so many tries, 2 our winger couldn't score cause he isn't good enough yet. JAC woulda easy. Benji did a stupid kick at the end, but for most part had a part good game ? Brooks was alright. Our halves this game I don't think we're the prob ?

Nah not really ! It was 1 for 1 . Benji lost us the game with grubber . I honestly reckon if we struck down the left again we would have gone in. Talau looked slow , but geez he’s powerful . He might be a weapon number 12 .

There’s no other half in the game that would have been so egotistical to take that play. It’s unforgivable. We had a real dig tonight to get back into that game. He sucks.

Yea it was all or nothing . And the worst part is it wasn’t on , Johnston had it covered. His defence sux more than anything . At least 2 tries were because he was hobbling or a step behind . **That first 20 ! Why does it happen ? It’s every game . Do we do too big of a warm up ? Not enough of one ?**

I remember Penrith having a season like that a few years back. Always slow out of the gates and often had to come from behind to win.

Let’s celebrate that loss. Apart from first 20 minutes ..... we competed.
It’s a positive for the future.
Couple of observations.
Garner should not be in starting side. His defence and attack has been mediocre this year.
Talau is very much a question rather than a backline answer. If he has a future it’s in the forwards.
We need a ball playing lock ....... desperately.
And with roster additions we hope will eventuate next year ..... I think we just might get pat that dreaded 9th spot.

I think McIntyre can be the ball playing lock we need. Has had a couple of nice passes and hits like J trbojovic. With a bit more mongrel.

If the right person can develop his passing game, he should become a great player. Certainly seems to have the determination and effort for it. Type of player you would love to coach and play along side.

I almost feel sorry for Benji. After a few weeks of public turmoil he had the chance to prove the doubters wrong.
I think that kick was a moment of realisation for not only his biggest fans but maybe even himself.

They asked him who he be playing for next year and he said something like "I'm not too sure right now". Then he went on to say he'd told Storm he'd be going back so would probably be there.

It wasn't as definitive an answer as I was expecting.
