Not watching closely enough - AJ only ruined the Benji pass, he just wasn't experienced enough to be up flatter and completely wasn't expecting it, not an excuse but purely a rookie's mistake.

The other one from AD was ruled a forward pass 🙂

There is always the option for the guy with 17 years experience to look and see where the runner is and pass it to where he is instead of where he wished he was. Again.

Someone put a shock collar on Benji and use it every time he kicks before the 4th tackle

That could have been a great movement, if only Benji had kept his eyes on the target instead of totally unnecessarily looking back at the attackers as if he was trying to trick them when taking the short runner. The ball was still a little too long regardless, likely being high as it reached him if Asu was flatter.

Benji put the pass in the space - if Benji passes directly at AJ, he can't run onto it at speed and make the break. Pass was good, but I don't think AJ was expecting it so was a step back...

If Benji is guilty of anything it's that AJ wasn't aware it was coming...If AJ knew the play was on..it was his fault for his positioning.

If you're Souths, with 2 minutes to go...pressure on, defending on your line and totally gassed...what would you rather? The opposition to kick on the 2nd? Or have them test your line for another 3 tackles?

Even if he was able to get a repeat set, it eats away at the clock. Poor option under the circumstances.

Yes he was good in creating attacking chances but for someone so integral to our game plan(and also our most experienced), a brain fade like that is inexcusable
We want to overturn the culture of being the NRLs underachievers and our playmakers not being able to produce the right play is part of the reason why we have this tag.

Can't believe players still let Gags get intercepts. Apparently no-one does video of this guy, he ALWAYS goes for the intercept, at club or Origin level.

We've all been complaining about how slow Doueihei is. How slow does that make Gagia if AD was able to run him down?

Maybe it's his big giraffe legs when he runs in a straight line?

He has no agility or speed of the mark - 90% of the time that's what you need.

The halves were good. We gave Souths too much of a head start, like we did against the Eagles. Souths are a good team. Defence wins games and our starting props don't do defence well. Blame Garner all you like but our defence really picked up when McIntyre and Eisenhuth came on in the middle. Garner was still on the field, Aloiai and Mikaele were not. The same against the Eagles.
