I understand what’s being said. Nofa made good metres overall, but his dirty hit ups weren’t really as effective last night. Quite a few times he was forced sideways or backwards and his metres is boosted by the two line breaks he made, However his second half was tremendous and he’s a big reason we got back into the game, scoring and setting up a try to get us ahead.

This thread is hilarious to read the next day after the win with 20/20 hindsight, especially 15mins before half time.
Im going to gloat in exactly the way I HATE when other people do, but.....when we signed Walters I immediately knew and said he will be our hooker and most here had a crack at me. To me it was obvious what was going on and I have to slip a short I TOLD YOU SO in. Ok now that is out of my system....
Grant & Walters were both fantastic for us. I have always thought rotating hookers was a waste of a bench spot but I can see it working well for us and Walters I think has wide utility value in an emergency. For mine, barring injuries, Reynolds never plays another game for us.
Credit where its due Jennings had a crack and possibly his best game for us.
I thought Douiehi looked good. Great balance and looked dangerous regularly with the ball.
Nofo is an enigma BUT, I think people are being overly sensitive about our RHS defence last night. The Sharks threw three great plays at it last night for 2 tries. Two were great kicks and if anyone was at fault it may have been Douiehi for not being there. The third was simply a great pass from Graham.
Alioia, Twal, Mikaile were all enormous, Seyfarth underwhelming for mine. Garner is finding his spot. Lucy didnt let us down.
BJ was workmanlike and was good to see him take some tough carries. Shows good attitude.
I thought Mbye looked pretty good again at centre. As others have said here, he didnt get great ball. Brooks seemed determined for Mbye to run that line that Lawrence used to run. It rarely works. Would like to see Mbye get early ball in space.
Benji & Brooks were fantastic.
