When you have terrible defence like us, you can't just punt it into touch when on the attack expecting to defend your way to win. Terrible game management by Moses.
 
wests-tigers also have had habit of **leaking points in the first 5 min of second half.**
Hope it doesn't happen this game..Don't be surprised if it does
 
im sorry but whatever money people are thinking about giving to brooks should be split between moses and tedessco he really isnt what everyone thinks he is
 
Sharks are gonna go at Simona and Rankin the entire second half based on their last 10 there. Would be nice if we could kick clear and hold them out for a new thing. Not feeling confident but was nice to see the boys rise after the adversity of the first 10.

Simona and Rankin just need to make more committed decisions in defence. Back pedalling is not defence.

Dumb play. We had them on the back foot and put in a nothing kick finding touch. Sometimes the best defence is a great offence and that wasn't it. Very negative play, just turning over the ball.
 
It's a good game, both teams look pretty evenly matched. Sharks are starting to throw the ball around a bit more and our left edge is definitely struggling. Hope we can fix that in the second half.

Forwards have all been good, very strong up the middle. The second half is just going to come down to controlling the ball and keeping up the intensity, particularly in defence.
 
Horrible decision not to give a voluntary tackle against Barba meant we missed out on a penalty on their line with 5 to go. They then went down the other end and scored soon after.

Good first half by Tigers esp given the messing around with Teddy and Sue off for head checks for 15 moins each early

We had the scrum ready to go….he made us move to the mark...still in time and still moved off.

Must be ready for his tea and a scones.

Wests Tigers keep your defence it's been good but don't go into an attacking shell. Play your natural game and score the points.
 
Another captain's knock by Woods, fantastic game, 82m from 8 runs, 13 tackles 1 MT :slight_smile:
Lawrence plays better and better, fantastic angle run, he rediscovered himself as 2nd rower.
Grant, Sue, Seumanufagai and Halatau were all very good.
And King James, he is arguably the best NRL player ATM.
Great kick returns by Nofoaluma.
Farah was quit, hopefully he will contribute more in the attack.

How is that knee in Tedesco head not a penalty, it would be 8 point try if it is in goal :frowning:

That was incredible - literally didn't have a hand placed on him. May as well throw the rule away if you're not going to use it.
