Live game thread round 4

Bugger. Ugly game but we were still the better team and didn't deserve to lose. Typical wet, slippery game.
Masters has the yips, just not making decent contact, time to give someone else a go.
If Jennings reads the play better they don't score a try.
Trying to find a positive, Matterson, Garner, Twal and Thompson were great again and Grub went well for his first run back.
 
Honestly you couldn't put any blame on the refs tonight, in fact I thought we were getting most good calls go our way. Penrith had some dodgy ones go against them.

No we lost that game purely and simply because we have no goal kicker and we are pathetic at field goals as well.

That scene of jubilation at the end after a player kicks the winning field goal in GP - that is never us, never bloody ever!!!
 
Our supposed goal kicker can't kick from right in front and our halves can't kick a field goal from right in front under no pressure. Marsters should never be allowed to kick again, but who can kick?

The only place a ref would ever call a forward pass in ET is at Suncorp.
 
It should never have got to golden point. Must be an amazing feeling to watch your team win an extra time game though. Perhaps we will know one day.
 
This team is so hard to watch. Man I wanted to win that one. Add it the list of grey hairs I have that a breeding like rabbits.
 
Give him a shot. He can't run, can't pass & can't tackle. Surely there is something he can do.
 
It's not even about field goals and golden point. Its about shutting out the game with 10 to go. Play smart for f sake. Can guarantee if Melbourne or east are in that situation with 10 to go they win 9/10 times.
Were cursed for sure!
 
Penrith were terrible tonight and we get done, can’t believe it. We have zero attack, very little in the way of organisation, but they can tackle. The better side lost, but the means nothing
 
What is our golden point record now? We must have the worst record. I thought Reynolds was supposed to help with this. Can’t fault the forwards, they put Brooks in a good position.
