Easy to point your finger at the coach, but we have an established coach who has the resume to prove he’s a winner. It’s simply the players. We don’t have the players to make the finals. I’m aware that you all know that because we have been complaining about the squad we have for years now.

We need one marquee signing to set the ball rolling
Remember when Souths were a basket case then they signed Inglis ...
Won a Comp and been competing well ever since ( except there last 2 games)
But you know what I mean !

The problem is we have marquee money tied up already on 5 guys who are barely first grade standard.

If our blokes are thinking this then I see that as a massive cop out. Why not take the opportunity to show their current &/or potential employers how good they are?

We were pedestrian tonight. The only highlight was that bw is an awesome stadium to watch the footy at.

They are professional footballers and their to do a job. Most people who are playing for a contract or their future actually lift. Don't make excuses for players being incompetent.

I’m definitely not making excuses for it, but it’s what happens when there is uncertainty at the club. No one knows what’s going on. It’s easy as a supporter to say “well they should be professionals”. Maybe they should, but in these situations they aren’t. If you’ve got a coach who doesn’t want you, it would be pretty hard to get yourself up to try and win for him.

Offered nothing with the ball in hand. We defended well enough to be in the game, but didn't trouble them what so ever with the ball.
Their tries came from good kick chase and intercepts. Our slow and predictable sideways running made us easy pickings.
