Liverpool is a brilliant area for a club to be based at.

Enormous population. Fast growth. Not far from some schools producing future NRL stars.

if it eventuates, we should go all in and grab it with both hands and try and claim it as our own.

Yep, we need to start controlling the narrative on it now.

I thought you were sold on Bankwest ?

With social distancing pretty much the way of the future ANZ wins hands down

I'd be happy with BW, but apparently others are not, see I can take others thoughts into consideration.

The only problem with Wankwest is Parramatta are involve with it.

So we should get on the front foot now to ensure that the proposed stadium at Liverpool suits our needs.

No ones going to go to a game at Liverpool...fairdinkum ?

I WILL

Liverpool is not going to cut it, nor Campbelltown. It's Oran Park, Camden, Narellan - Group 6. Greenfield sites where the NRL with forward planning should have worked with the NSW Govt to ensure a stadium, COE for all sports was constructed. Lots of kiddies out there, boys and girls, wanting to play sport.

So you want to relocate to the extremities of Sydney's South West limited transport infrastructure at least Liverpool is basically half way from Campbelltown and Leichhardt.
Let me guess are you a new resident to Camden / Oran Park

Oran Park is 14 km down the Northern Rd from Badgerys Creek Airport. A proposed south west rail link extension from Leppington to Badgerys creek is planned also a rail link to Campbelltown. There is a funding pledge for this plus a plan for express bus routes. No doubt road improvements and other infrastructure will be provided. Western Sydney residents will be in 30 min proximity to jobs by bus to the employment area near the airport.

With the Deputy Premier supportive of the NRL, there is an opportunity for a club to create a new future, whether that be WTs or a new or relocated club in what is a massive area of Sydney.

I live in Cronulla and would be happy if WTs stuck with the old Magpie and Balmain areas with the COE at Concord with games st Lidcombe and Leichhardt. There are lots of good juniors and corporate funding ?

Only people in Sco Mo territory talk up fantasy jobs at the White Elephant Badgerys Creek Airport - should be ashamed of yourselves.
When your saviour goes down at the next Federal election Albo will create new flight paths over Cronulla, won’t that be nice.

either move to Campbo full-time (our own comfy boutique stadium) or ANZ full-time, with a game a piece at Campbo and LO.

We surely are able to make enough money to afford one of these options and cannot afford to ignore the west any longer, if it is not far too late.

Scomo is our local Federal MP, lucky us! In the deep south politics is not discussed unless you vote Scomo. I don't discuss it. I'm considered a red ragger down south.

Doesn't the commitment to the airport have cross party support?

PS We have a flightpath over Kurnell. Love it?

problem with the west is it is built up but lots of people living out that way move out there to buy land and have allegiances to other clubs. This would not change if we had a stadium out there as they would still support dragons dogs manly etc.
Homebush looks the midpoint to me but would love the club to provide demographics on membership etc and to see how many members have Bankwest LO and Campbo or a combination of just bankwest and or just LO and Campbo

Any other ground will never feel like Home.

They folded two clubs WT'S do not have a spiritual homd ground heres the chance to get one.

We all know Leichhardt is the Tigers spiritual home ground, anyone who has been to a Campbelltown and Leichhardt home game has FELT it.

Build a new concrete jungle and it just won't be the same.
Long live Leichhardt

Sorry but it's a dump. It's horrible to get to, you have to get there at 11am to get a decent spot, very poor facilities. Rugby League is a business and Leichhardt doesn't fit the bill.
We should move to either ANZ ,newly built stadium at Liverpool or a re-developed Campbelltown. Rugby league needs a stronger foothold in the south-west. Especially with A-League and AFL making strong inroads.

Just a heads up Badgerys Creek is no white elephant if you haven't been out the Northern Rd to Luddenham lately do yourself a favour and have a look that whole area has changed dramatically over the past three years and it only just started. On Albo he will be lucky to be leader of his party by time the next election comes around

Lets move everything to campbletown i mean they train at campbletown, and COE is at campbletown.. oh wait...
As for the A league making inroads lets be serious if the ALeague moves to winter it wont comoete with rugby league ir AFL. AFL in sydney is devided with swans and GWS we have 9 teams with good crowds combined and excellent tv coverage for the game.
we should be an inner city club e.g. train at concord play at homebush with some boutique games at CSS and LO we dont need just one ground. If we make the semis we will have more crowds than we could hope for, we ine the comp in 2005 with a CSS LO and ANZ split, win games and it will solve everything.

You never go to Leichhardt, and yet you know how hard it is to get to?

i complain about travelling to campbletown as its about 50 mins away.. i still go and buy my membership there etc.
if you dont go to LO or CSS then i dont get why you complain about it

If they build a new stadium at Liverpool that holds 20,000, not much different to playing at Leichhardt, because it holds 20,000.

Personally I don't have a problem parking there, I park at Haberfield and it is a 10-15 minute walk, plenty of people I know park at Orange Grove, there are buses and light rail.

If the NRL / Council / government chip in to upgrade restrooms and refreshment areas it would work pretty well. You could go further and increase / improve seating at the water end, move the scoreboard to be with the screen and heighten the hill at the back to marginally increase the capacity. Fixed.
