LL was cited for tackle on Blake Lawrie - apparently a shoulder charge - misses a week with an early plea.

Nothing in it. Contest.

Disgraceful that he could miss a game for that and Sims' knee to Liddles head goes practically unpunished.

Almost unbelievable that in the climate of zero tolerance for contact with the head, an obvious attack to the face of a player goes virtually unpunished.

He clearly raised that knee... for no needed reason.
Shoulda been on report and sent.

Virtually unpunished? There was no punishment at all.

I hope we fight it and they bring up the knee to head! Didn’t jwh get binned for a less obvious one today! I don’t believe LL has any Carry over points either.

Thought someone posted that he was fined?

Sweet mate, didn't see that. I couldn't believe they looked at it during the game and it wasn't even a penalty.

On that incident, what is the point of the onfield HIA assessment anyway. They conducted one on Jacob, deemed him ok to continue and then were told to take him off 5 mins later, with our trainer running on to stop the game during a Dragons attacking set.

If a 3rd party is going to make that call maybe get rid of the onfield HIA and have the doctor inform the bunker and ref directly.

My recollections are that he copped another knock making a subsequent tackle, but was reasonably active in the live game thread, so wasn't fully concentrating on the action.

Penalty would have been way insufficient. Sims should have been binned at a minimum for deliberate head contact, regardless of being in possession, else what is the point of the new rules.

The concussion can be delayed..passed his initial test and passed the full HIA off the field..but he did look wobbly when they took him off..

Least if he’s out, it opens a door for Stefano. If he doesn’t play, it will be the first game he’s missed since joining the club.
