Lets face it and i apologise if this has been said but he is not going to disclose what happened with the ARU and if Gallop is fair dinkum he wil not register Tuquiri until he does so i think this is dead in the water.

2 things I'm sure of.

1\. Lote has to clear his head to decide what he wants to do and focus on

2\. All this is going to drag on a lot longer than it has to

and in the end will probably be a gee up

pretty sure Lote has already said if he returns to NRL he will be happy to sit down with David Gallop and tell him the story.
Whether Gallop releases it or not is up to him i guess.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge what Lote did.

He broke a code of conduct at worst, certainly did not committ a crime under Australian law.

Can't see how the NRL could refuse rego.

Lote will play for the Tigerz in 2010 the only problem is that Sheens will use him as a second rower….

It is possible I guess but a bit premature to claim that as he only boarded a plane today according to reliable sources and his first stop was not even Bayonne

I was right.

It was a smokescreen to get our fans to talk about something other than us missing the semi's again and organising a linch mob for the Fonz.

a surprising story considering I've been told by someone close to the dragons that Boyd is homesick and will be released and Lote has agreed already to a 2 year deal to be announced in a few days.

There is supposed to be a big announcement by saints tomorrow, although they did say it was not about Lote as they can't afford him ?

Dont think Lote would be flying to talk to French rugby clubs if he had agreed to Dragons. Dragons are obviously club due to Wayne Bennett so no doubt he will be linked to them and if Boyd does go back home Lote would go to Dragons over any other Nrl club obviously

or there's the rorters again. this is past a farce

Sacked Wallabies star Lote Tuqiri has revealed he met with Sydney Roosters chairman Nick Politis before jetting out to France to hold talks with cashed-up rugby sides Stade Francais and Bayonne.

Former Brisbane star Tuqiri, who has been linked with a return to rugby league with the Roosters and Wests Tigers, said his meeting with Politis was positive and he was only heading to France to weigh up his options.

‘‘It is a bit of a hit-and-run mission to see a few clubs and see where they are at,’’ Tuqiri told the Nine Network.

‘‘Rugby league is still very much an option and I’m just going out to see what’s out there and to re-assess.

‘‘The Roosters have got a good board and a good chairman and he was quite passionate about where they’re going and where they want to be.’’

Tuqiri is set to meet with former Penrith NRL star Craig Gower’s club Bayonne and also discuss his options with ex-NSW Waratahs coach Ewen McKenzie, who heads French Top 14 side Stade Francais.

Stade Francais is also home to former Kangaroos centre Mark Gasnier.
Tuqiri met last week with West Tigers coach Tim Sheens.

He had previously said he was reluctant to uproot his young family from Sydney.

The 29-year-old settled out of court with the Australian Rugby Union four days ago and dropped legal action over his contract termination after he was paid an undisclosed amount.

Tuqiri had his $1 million-a-year contract ripped up by the ARU in June following an alleged breach of team protocol at the Wallabies’ hotel in Canberra.
