Luke Brooks #167

Atm Brooks which is a worry. I reckon it's a massive issue. Hastings can be that leader but we've lost him. Brooks and Doueihi or Laurie can come up with some good plays but I wouldn't trust either of them to come up with a big play on the 5th for instance.

Brooks shouldn't be the leader. That has been the problem since he got into first grade. He needs to be a role player.
Unfortunately, as we all know this club has zero footy IQ. Brooks should have replaced Benji as 6 and we'd still have Moses at 7. Current year however with past experience of the Sheenius, im going to wait to see where Api plays.

He is the senior player at the club in the most key position he has to lead at some level if not as captain at the very least in application. He just has to step up in taking control in his role, and there really is no reason for him not to be able to do that if the players around him provide opportunity for the team to be in the game. If Sheens doesn't believe he has capable of doing that then he would be out of his mind to have backed him.

In case anyone missed it, here is Andrew Johns and Fittler talking about Brook's game. I think their response gives us some hope, 'a big fish' or 'a top line player' and 'hasn't reached his potential' wow, some interesting descriptions there, even the non believers would have to agree.

Taking some responsibility away from him and letting him use his speed and instinct.

Hobbo is completing his application for the Brooks' fan club right now.

So put aside all the talk about Brooks play etc..
Does anyone know if he is extending of the lower rate? I believe he was offered an extension and with Knights taking Hastings and Ponga that door is closed for him now.
Maybe he is waiting on the Moses meeting to see how that goes

How many times has Brooks won 4 games and the spoon before?
He can lay claim to be the one taking us on the downward spiral.
The anchor dragging us to the bottom.
How many times has he taken us to a semi final ...ever?
He's not a halfback... how many years can you give someone who continually fails?
How many excuses?
I'm quite ok with him at five eighth or even in the centres... anywhere except directing the team around the park.

in your opinion thankfully Sheens does not agree. I would like the team to do well in 2023 that includes Brooks playing well... you ?

How long does a torn knee take to heal?

Recovery time for your knee depends on a number of factors, including how severe your meniscus tear is. Full recovery from surgery may take 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the type of procedure performed as well as other factors. But keep in mind that people also heal at different rates
