It's not surprising at all.

He's been the starting halfback for 8 seasons and we haven't made finals in one of them.

Any halfback in that position would divide the fanbase at any club with No.7 being such a key position.

yes give Brooks a go, he had the most incompetant ,lazy , dumb and slowest backline i have ever seen in the top grade. Hasting, Gildart, and some new kids will make a big difference.

Now if people want to get excited for 23, that I can somewhat understand. As long as we can somehow find a quality centre. We have nothing going for us this year.

We have a few new recruits for next year and the young players who should grow a bit more. We are a chance to push for the 8. There are so many variables going into a new season that anything could happen, don’t write us off just yet.
