think a lot of people forget he's only 25. the Cronk's and Thurston's of this world peaked very late, JT won a premiership at 32. Brooks is probably still 2 years off his peak and has had to deal with a well below average roster around him and a host of different coaches. give him some time and some cattle and he will flourish.

Wests Tigers’ star halfback Luke Brooks is recovering from a break and enter on his Gladesville home while he was asleep with his partner on Wednesday night.
Police are investigating the incident in which thieves stole Brooks’ wallet, mobile phone, car keys and his girlfriend Tahlia’s car.
His credit card was used to buy cigarettes later that night.
Brooks has been left shaken by the incident, which was later reported to Ryde police.
Brooks’ manager, Isaac Moses, has confirmed the incident to The Sunday Telegraph.
“It’s obviously a nasty experience but Luke and his partner are both OK and police are investigating,” Moses said.
“He doesn’t want to talk about it.”
Police are convinced it was not a targeted attack by thieves cashing in the wealth of one of the NRL’s highly paid stars.
Ryde police are now studying CCTV footage from the service station where the brazen thief bought cigarettes with Brooks’ card after the robbery.
Brooks has only recently moved into his new home.
