He played some very good games for WTs this year.

They were few and far between. Most of his good performances were towards the end of the season where he came to life a little

Brooks has got to step up and lead this team,no Benji to stifle his play and JRey who he played best with is gone....if he hasnt learnt by now over 7 seasos then he best find another club...

When you think about it, every second week he has to play a different style of football. Our forwards get smashed in half the games.

So in some games he is scoping around the field looking for weak points in the defence. This is when our forwards have consistently been doing all the work, and he doesn't have to do a lot of thinking.

In others, he has to manoeuvre, for the majority of the game, his forwards, and dynamically change the way we structure our sets. Sadly this is the one we see most often.

forget the forwards. We cripple ourselves weekly with poor ball control, a general lack of professionalism and discipline defensively.

I get it, the top 7's will turn that all around and still shine, but i dont blame Brooks for not knowing how to when at this point in time some numpty will drop a ball or give away a penalty a set or 2 later.

Im far from convinced by him, but have the same doubts about 8 or 9 other players each week. Difference is, Brooks best to average games are miles apart, the rest of them couldnt turn a game on their best day.
