I’ve been impressed with his last 3 games.

Question is can we see this Brooks with Doueihi at 6, Mbye is not the answer.

Mbye had over 30 tackles tonight

He did, but that also included his stint at hooker, with Doueihi at six whilst Liddle was off for his HIA.

I’d say that would of been the plan even if Liddle was not injured. I think mbye played really well at 6

I think the unsung change for Brooks has been mbye moving to 6.
Mbyes sweeping runs behind Luke are allowing him to dig into the line, and hold inside defenders giving more space to the men outside. Doeuihi is just a step too slow to pair with Brooks at the moment. I'm not the biggest fan of moving Laurie from the 1 spot but if Mbye does leave soon i would move Doeuihi to 1 and Laurie to six as I think that would be a better outcome for Brooks and the team.

Agree with this 100%. It is no coincidence that Brooks form has turned around in this time as well as our right side attack looking more dangerous. Mbyes defence was great last night as well. I think people have a very miopic view of Mbye.

Agree with this 100%. It is no coincidence that Brooks form has turned around in this time as well as our right side attack looking more dangerous. Mbyes defence was great last night as well. I think people have a very miopic view of Mbye.

lol... like when...anyway...I'm sure they have kick-off's at training...whoever gets the most Wins..

Nah that’s Bull and you know it ..
He’s been kicking goals since under 10’s
But because he’s such an introvert and a shy boy he obviously didn’t want the gig ..
Fancy sitting back and watching your team choke out in games knowing you would’ve been a better option at goal kicking ...
I’ll say it again .. not good enough.

He’s had one good game .. let’s hope it’s two ( this week)

It's also NRL where the coach picks the kicker's not Under 10's where whoever gets a go..

Or maybe the coach thought Brooks was under 10’s and just helping out at training ?

I tell you if we brought out a Brooks Bobblehead it would be easily our best selling piece of merchandise .......

Brooks MOM last night.

(Can’t believe I just wrote that.)

For the first time in forever, whenever the ball went his way, instead of wincing I was actually keen to see what would happen.

His bombs to no-one still leave me shaking my head but wow his general play was damn sight better.

I’ll have to go back and re-watch some of the earlier games. From memory, which is always poor, his previous kicks were relative lower trajectory with little chance of getting there but you are probably right.
