FWIW, I know everyone is all emotional after another poor performance and another poor first half. But I dont want Madge to go crazy next match. We knew these four weeks were going to be tough and we have a "good" run home except for Panthers.

I want Madge to pick our "best" team for Broncos. If we lose that game then I want him to get funky.

Not sure if any of you watched Bennet's press conference. Very, very interesting. He basically said that the media blame the players for these huge blowout scores, but the main problem is with the management of some clubs. He said it is much deeper than blaming the players and suggested a toxic workplace will lead to underperforming in any work environment.. Worth watching if you haven't seen it.

I am a long way from our club, it seems to me that the club is run pretty professionally these days, maybe this was not always the case though?

Post match press conference pretty accurate today - "we were garbage". Visibly frustrated and will definitely be looking at the team for the next game. He was critical of the line speed and thinks it is more to do with attitude from the players at the moment.

Went into a bit more background on what's happening to rebuild the club, but yeah, he was filthy.

Scary thing is it is almost a guarantee he won't drop anyone...despite the rhetoric, which he is mastering.

Brad Arthur dropped a much bigger name in Ferguson for two weeks of bad reads...McGuire won't leave out Nofaluma even if he lets three in a week.

Cooper could go there...anyone who will at least read the play. Our opposite side winger does not get abused like it, so players are capable. Teams target Nofaluma every single week. Conceding each week after only 3 mins is just absolutely farcical.

That intercept play today will be enough to keep Nofaluma in for another year or so anyway. One good play for ten dumb ones somehow acceptable.

He is one of the prime reasons we are as bad as we are. At no other club would a completely zero IQ winger play so many games.

I agree on the Nofa comments 100%, but Cooper is not going to fix the issue I don’t believe. Perhaps defensively but he’s slow as and if he makes that intercept he doesn’t make it past the half way line. I think we’re a victim of not being able to attract Topline players to our club and Madge, Hartigan and Pascoe etc know it and also understand that our only option is to develop within through juniors, pathways etc and it’s gonna take time. My fear is if there’s no experience around the youth we just continue to get what we’ve got and if we don’t have good development coaches around them we don’t get them ready for first grade.

Actually, Cooper pulled off an intercept last game in reggies and ran the length, which surprised me.

We don't even need that play though, we just need someone who does not concede two to three a week. Nofaluma was absolutely lost on souths first couple today. The ratio of three tries conceded, one scored just won't win you games.

It has bothered me a while that Brooks is always the scapegoat...reality is we have a Z grader defensively on the wing and we are giving the opp a 2 try head start most games. He is a massive liability and we likely won't improve until he is long gone.

Yep very frustrating. Must admit from the few reserve grade games I’ve watched Cooper’s been slow but I do think he’s got footy smarts and I’d be happy for him to get a go at the Expense of Nofa. It’ll never happen though.

I think Brooks has lifted in the past month and he’s not our issue in my opinion but geez our edge defence has got to improve and quickly. I’m a massive AD fan but his defence was terrible today and so was Mbyes.

Not over. We need to charge home in this run home against teams around us on the ladder. Im not saying its likely, but possible.

I dont think people fully comprehend that in a season that is as uneven as I can remember, we have had two x 4week periods against the big guns so far, its time to cash in.

As I said above, we have had two runs in the draw against the top teams, the remainder of the draw except Penrith is the chance to see if we can compete against teams around us.

Pick our "best" against Brisbane. If we lose then its time to go full retard.

I understand what your talking about and often the problem starts further infield but man, sometimes Nofa looks like he’s asking our centre or 2nd rower if he can get a piggyback he’s so far infield
