What's this crap about keep growing in the press conference?
He's got no idea. Out of his depth.

It’s literally the same press conference after every loss

It's weak.

Here's Robbie!!

What’s he saying “Maguire can’t coach”😂

Madge looked like a guy who has no answers left. Even he no longer believes the rehearsed cliches he keeps dishing out.
I have been supportive of him all along but tonight was inexcusable and I honestly don’t think he has any ideas left to turn this around. I am not sure anyone can with this group.

Time to get a new group then.

Exhausted all option.

Issue: coach... yes.
Issues: players... yes.

Issues: fans?
No, we the best!

I thought the 'hard edge' that Maguire was supposed to bring would actually turn the Tigers around and the 'near misses' would improve and there'd be a certain level of consistency going forward.

Alas no. I'll admit that I was always happy to give the coach and the team the benefit of the doubt because the Tigers couldn't just sack another coach. Unfortunately Maguire just can't get results.

In any walk of life its about getting the best you can with the resources at your disposal. You can't tell me that the team he had at his disposal tonight wasn't better than the opposition? What makes it worse was how much they had to play for! Sorry but what happened tonight comes down to a lack of leadership and that lack of leadership has been echoed way too often this season (Leichhardt v Nth Qld anybody?).

Unfortunately the Tigers are condemned to another season (at least) of an ordinary roster coupled with a poor leader.

Changes at this stage are too late....

With another coach we might have signed JAC and DF. Ah well, shoulda woulda coulda. A new coach will at least give some hope that something good could happen next year. As it stands I reckon wooden spoon. No hope.

Yep, JAC would’ve won the game for us tonight.

He would have played the ball properly.

I expect more from you CB

Yeah. I'm bitter. It's a game we should not have lost.

I said it to @The_Patriot the other day...

Madge has this reputation of being some hard task master or hard man Mr Serious... yet at the tigers he's been nothing but a soft touch.

Walking on egg shells? He's babied a lot of these players through the past few years.

We've asked for accountability and he drops some kids after their second game or something and let's repeat offenders hold their position.

I personally have no idea what this approach is...
Surely it sends a bad message to those waiting for their chance and see this happening.

It's time to bite the bullet, walk away from some contracts and invest in success... external recruiting needs to be prioritised heavily.

I know I've said it 100 times on here and I cannot say sorry to those who disagree but I'm taking aim... these three I've had enough of.

**Talau** is not good enough.
Should not be picked.
No impact, no intent, slow, bad hands.

**Nofo** should be shopped. Never runs straight, literally looks bored out there and loses so much meter's. Scores a try every now and then but is overrated, overpaid and consistently underperforming. I feel we get little value out of him cos he's just not good enough.

**Mbye** - the lion who has no heart.
No emotion, no passion, no effort.
Haven't seen this guy attempt to engage in a game since he was wearing a blue and white jersey.
Braith Anastasia x Adam Blair type efforts from one of the highest paid guys in the league. It's embarrassing.

Brent Read reporting Madge reached out to Vaughan only to discover he’d already signed at Dogs. Nice work team

Yep, it says a lot. We wouldn't have got him anyway it seems but Maguire could have enquired a lot earlier. Don't want to be repetitive but in my opinion we will not improve until we get rid of Hartigan, Maguire and Pascoe.

it sounds like Hartigan may be a bit of the problem

I believe Hartigan is doing a fine job. We have some of the best juniors in our ranks because of his ability and eye for talent He can only recruit the players and it is up to the coaching staff to develop them.

Fails in every single one of his ‘big time’ negotiations. Picks up the scraps.

For me what stands out is the fact every week it's the same issues that let us down and nothing has been done to fix those.

There's some obvious changes to be made but he keeps doing the same thing and the same issues let us down every week

Laurie, Stefano and Simpkin are hardly scraps.

Everyone keeps mentioning these three. Last year they were other clubs scraps. Good on them for turning into consistent first graders here. Truly.but they were scraps.

Exactly you see how fit and dynamic the storm look when training then you look at our lot and it's no wonder we lapped by 60.

I thought madge was supposed to be a hard trainer but he's just failed.

All the training and "performance " staff have to go the players are not fit enough

Just like Harry Grant was scraps running around q cup behind Cam Smith?

Just like RTS was scraps and couldn't get a run ahead of Miniciello?

Just like Sam Walker was scraps because the Broncos didn't offer him a deal?

Juniors that can't break into a side with established first graders are not what I would define as 'scraps'. They simply get more opportunity in a squad like ours because it lacks those established first graders, so the door is wide open.

Tim Sheens as interim coach, make it look like he will be long term coach to help sign a few players, then be somewhat patient finding a coach.
