Drawing out the review tells me that we are in talks with ciraldo and trying to get an understanding if he would take the job. It could also be madge blowing up royally about his assistant coaches being removed and having sheens on top of him. If that’s the case they could be negotiating a pay out in the background.

You do realise it could also be a total figment of your imagination.

Yes I do realise that, without any inside information it is all a figment of my imagination lol.

Other than some speculation posted on here, has there been any formal communication on the assistants being moved on?

I can’t see the link between the review being drawn out and waiting for Ciraldo to finish with the Panthers. The club can still sack Madge in the meantime and announce Ciraldo when his duties are fulfilled.

Don’t think it would be to wait till panthers finished as they could easily play a few more weeks. But if they are interested in him I’m sure his manager would be all over it. Unless they are looking at someone from England, I don’t really see anyone else in Australia .

I can see the link. Possibly the consensus of the board is the only coach worth paying out Madge's contract for is Ciraldo, who has said he won't talk until after Penrith are out of the finals. If he says no, they'll probably retain Madge as a puppet head coach with Sheens and the new assistants doing the vast majority of the work until Madge eventually quits.

Not that I know of, just taking what I’ve read on here.

I think they don’t want to pay him out two years so are setting up structures that would make his position almost powerless. I can’t imagine someone like madge accepting this. Hopefully they are negotiating a payout as we speak .

IF Ciraldo came here, we all do realise that the moment Ivan were to leave Penrith, he would absolutely jump ship back to them without hesitation. Ciraldo is not the man we should be looking at.
May very well be the perfect style of coach for us, but the wrong man and the wrong time.

So you think Cleary is more likely to be sacked before Ciraldo if he were to come here?

Media fabrication, Cleary won’t be sacked. Not while his son is there

And if he is, we’ll just bring him back here. He has unfinished business. And he might even bring chin jr.

Ivan won’t leave whilst Nathan is there.
They were equal top, and most the squad hasn’t played 75 games of nrl yet. Ivan has a good 3yrs at least.

The biggest fear with getting someone like Ciraldo isn’t him leaving to the Panthers it’s who we will put around him experience wise to build the team, how he will go having an unsuccessful next year & his ability to recruit top line talent. Ciraldo won’t have a chance to be a success by himself.

Human toilet brush Kikau a plastic tough guy. Nofaluama, Brooks & co. would love him at the Tigers as he'd become the new 'whipping post'. Pea-heart. Avoid.

What’s to be happy about? This club has destroyed his reputation. He only has one way out and that’s to somehow get us playing finals. That’s if the club doesn’t sack him, which if they do, he’s cooked. He’ll never get another head coaching role again.

I think Madge has a fine reputation in the game having brought success back to Souths. People always leave WT and go on to bigger and better, you only have to look at how many former Tigers are playing/coaching in the finals.

Cleary is the only coach to get an NRL coaching gig after being the Wests Tigers head coach. The Wests Tigers are the Death Row of NRL coaching opportunities.

Seriously, just quit while your ahead.
I bet your one to respond with ‘correct’ or ‘I disagree’ in social surroundings as in it is your right to adjudicate a persons opinion.
You keep this up your not going to have too many subscribers to your intellectual posts that make. Which are for the most highly informative and full of value.
But please, do yourself a favour and let go of the whole I am right and I need to prove it to you stuff.
Please.

Thanks for your feedback. This is a forum, right? I can pick and choose what I pursue and what I ignore.

Balmain Boy could have said "yeah" or said nothing at all, but he decided to push back several times, which is fine, and I decided to keep responding, which is also fine. One or both of us get bored with it soon enough without bystanders wanting to get involved.

I'm not looking for subscribers, I'm looking for lively, well thought discussion about rugby league and Wests Tigers.

Happy to end this discussion. Your welcome to have the final say.
