Yeah I was thinking the same. A lot of talk around Robbie but not much about Rowdy. Maybe his business interests and the crap he allegely copped from Pascoe to extend before his last year is a blocker. He is probably the most qualified and genuine former WT player of recent times. Also, A one club player from MacArthur region .

I always like him as a player- but dont you think he's too quiet? Doesn't have that same leadership quality and passion that Farah has.

Rowdy is a wonderful leader.

Its great if we need a strong core of ex WT players around the boys to help build a strong WT culture

Who do we have?

Chris Lawrence - NRL Career Coach
Simon Dwyer — NRL Video Analyst
John Skandalis — Sponsorship Sales Executive

Robbie Farah - Blue shirt and hooked coach
Pat Richards - is he still coaching kicking?

I know Kevin McGuinness is involved in Wests Junior Development, I think this year he was with the Under 14's. He works closely with Gallant at times.

Ben Galea is involved with Balmain nowadays too but not sure of his exact role.

Good to hear this.

Forgive my ignorance, but is that the same Kevin McGuiness that was outed with Craig Field for illegal substance matters - teaching 14yo boys?

Hey champion @Swordy, mate people change and learn (we hope!).

Absolutely, and I'm not suggesting otherwise. People make mistakes and atone and I certainly understand that, even if I am labelled ignorant. I'm sure he has many an experience to draw on which can be a massive positive if used well.

It is your ignorance. During his suspension for that he did hours of community service including youth work.

That's good to hear. Ignorant people like me learn every day and I am happy to.

Still bringing the band back together .....this club ...never mind ..they never learn ...how will this club learn new ways to change the old bad ways if we keep hiring from within

I never seen a group of stupider numbnuts in my entire life .....( the board ..not the ex players )

This club has an unhealthy habit of just bringing back old legends of the club and hoping they'll suddenly fix things, either as players or involved with the club

A lot of it is for positive PR. I think that was the main reason they brought Benji and Robbie back, and would be a reason to bring Woods back. Especially after the last month.

Took the words right out of my fingers.

We’ve gotta hire more intelligently, there’s talent out there! Even outside league circles!

I wonder how Mathew Betsey got a job?

Because our CA pathways has gone bsckwards while he was involved ....perfect WT signing

Because run of the mill fans thinks its nice yo get ex players back and they are probably cheaper

But the club wont change if we dont shake things up and bring in new ideas

I get what others were saying, this post is a bit different though. It is the club's official page backing the coach and the players are following suit. The other one was from fox sports and had a bit of a jab at the club's management.

Pat Richards - is he still coaching kicking?

Glad to see ex WT's players don't get preferential treatment

Still bringing the band back together .....this club ...never mind ..they never learn ...how will this club learn new ways to change the old bad ways if we keep hiring from within

I never seen a group of stupider numbnuts in my entire life .....( the board ..not the ex players )

This club has an unhealthy habit of just bringing back old legends of the club and hoping they'll suddenly fix things, either as players or involved with the club

A lot of it is for positive PR. I think that was the main reason they brought Benji and Robbie back, and would be a reason to bring Woods back. Especially after the last month.

I get the PR angle but how much PR would bringing Woods back have.

Anyone know why Gibbs dislikes Flanagan so much? This is second negative comment from Gibbs about Flanagan I've seen posted on social media.

Well he played under Flanno at the sharks

And probably best understands how twisted Flanagan really is.
