Don’t get to excited ! When I see a well turned out team with shape , moves , motivated and can play a full 80 mins every week we have a good coach . Cleary finished 9 th last season with the same players so remains to he seen .. all bluster and talk is well and good let’s see it produced on the field .

Cleary didn’t have Matterson, who’s been our best.

We just have to put our faith in Madge and let him run things for 3 - 5 years. Then if any of us are not in mental institutions we can call for his head if he has failed.

Nobody in their right mind who supports the tigers would say Cleary is better than Madge. The bloke has done all he can to destroy the club.

Well technically Flanagan isn't an NRL coach but he is in the Top 6 ,

Bennett ,Bellamy , Robinson , Hasler , Paul Green , Flanagan , Seibold

Starting to think Nathan Brown could be above both

Exactly @jadtiger. The only constant through the years has been mediocrity and it's solely due to poor management. No other club has stuffed up their coaching and player recruitment/retention more epically than us.

I think it's too soon to judge Madge, he's inherited a mess. But will say I love his attitude.

I do have a question for other forum users. Is there any truth to him training players well after a game's finish? I've read both Facebook posts and tweets that have stated our reserves and/or bench are doing laps hours after games.

Interesting thought experiment how Tigers may have gone with those players under Madge, i.e. if Madge was available when JT was appointed.

But you can't blame the board for the roster - they have nothing to do with that. You can blame them for the nonsense of home grounds and to some extent the coaching merry go round we have been on for the last few years.

Parra, Manly Gold Coast can all attract players and i don't think they are run any better than us. Even Canterbury which is a total train wreck can attract players.

Are the dogs really a trainwreck? Horrible roster ATM and they have a new board but are that horribly run? I think we have them beat.
