Marina Go resigns Barry O'Farrell appointed

She has done an outstanding job for the club and I am sorry she is leaving us. About time they replaced Beattie with Marina Go. I was glad the CEO of Wests is involved in WTs as that is a successful club and it is good to have fresh ideas.

Appoint Robbie Farah to the board. Apparently has no impact on salary cap, ask Darren Lockyer.

You can't be serious…....

We're in major salary cap strife and the NRL booted our CEO.

Before that, another club snatched our coach that we were 'rebuilding' around.

Let's be blunt. She completely failed.

Walking was her only option.

- Salary cap breach
- CEO deregistered
- Coach walks out
- Major turmoil and drama over Robbie Farah sacked, then Jason Taylor sacked then Farah being brought back
- Losing one of our best local juniors (Tedesco) who has gone on to win a premiership, play origin and play for the kangaroos
- Centre of Excellence still not much closer

I don't know if that is all on her but we still have a long way to go as a club. The playing roster hasnt improved under Go and Pascoe either.

Just my opinion Silento that’s all. I have been very impressed with our ability to attract sponsors and right the ship from a financial perspective.

OK you could argue the salary cap is on the her but what the hell was the club supposed to do about Cleary?

Goh doubled down on Cleary as the man the 'rebuild' the club and steady the ship on-field.

At the same time, Penrith did the same with his son.

Something had to give. Father and son never compete against each other for long in rugby league.

Penrith's top brass outsmarted ours and it left us in a precarious spot.

And there you have it. I’ll say it again and I’ll keep saying it: GREENBERG IS OUT OF HIS DEPTH.
Also, the Tigers board members conspiring against Go should be sacked. We don’t need agenda driven bullies and dinosaurs running our club.

Look the club is making a profit

We have been recruiting a far higher standard of player

Our sponsorship $$'s are at a all time high

Memberships are all time highs

If you weigh up the pros and cons Go has been successful

Just need to transfer it onto the park now

Very interesting article and just reinforces my opinion of the bias and favouritism which dominates the NRL.It also shows that the board of WT do not have the best interests of the club at heart but just want to be part of the boys club. They are the ones who should be quitting

One of board members informed is now acting CEO so good luck with that @Tiger_Steve

Speaking from a female perspective unfortunately this article does make it sound like the NRL is still very much the old boys club only mentality…..

He can’t apply for Chair as he’s not independent so what happens when Pascoe returns? He’s resigned his current position from the board.
