Anyone join the dots and make the conclusion that he Won't stay because someone else Won't go?

I'm not sure about that mate.

Money rules. I do laugh when people have said Taupau should be 'loyal' to the Tigers, or 'honour his contract'.

Please.

Marty left his junior club for a chance at 1st grade here. Did he magically develop loyalty in 2 years?

And would you, or anyone else, stay in your current job if another company offered you more to go work for them? Significantly more?

I don't blame him for wanting out of his contract if Manly are going to stump up his earnings significantly. Good for him. It's money the Tigers probably can't afford to spend.

All that needs to be done here is find some level of compensation from Manly- be it players or cash.

Take it & run- Marty Taupau is a good player, but he ain't THAT good.

The rumblings are getting stronger that he "won't" player under a senior member of our squad….
adjustments have been attempted to remedy the situation, Where it goes from there is anyones' guess.

Are you talking about Farah as being the senior player? If you are going to lay more accusations against Farah then provide something more credible than joining the dots and "the rumblings".

 And no one is doing that with any other employee of the club?

I think we all need to admit that none of us truly know what the situation with Farah and his influence on the club is. We're just all speculating and could be totally wrong. Let's just get over it FFS.

I'm over it alright, have been since Gordy Gate last year, and that was after being pretty dismayed another year earlier when the club agreed to the ridiculous four year deal despite the coach rightly recommending two. Surely there will never be more similarly stupid contracts (insert the last three letters quoted above), particularly as he was already in the shadow of thirty when agreed,

Taupau, like others have suggested has already got the starting spot he wanted despite it probably not being what is best for the team, so unless Manly or another is going to compensate accordingly, well he can just hang around and suck on eggs next season if team Tapau or whatever doesn't want to put in.

Exactly. All the comments stating he is running the club etc. It doesn't add up if they've told him that he can go elsewhere.

Just substitute was for "is" in your first sentence, then remove the n't in the second and it does make sense.

I like many have heard numerous footy people that had direct contact with Farah interviewed or commentating over the years that have stated various things about him being divisive, a control freak etc etc. Maybe they are all lying and out to discredit him, and just maybe the tooth fairy will leave something under my young fellas pillow tonight? Similar odds for mine.

For mine, we're all quick to swallow that DCE is a divisive jerk who has ruined a club for preservation of his own honour but somehow our own club stalwart is above all that?

Tapou wants to leave?

Lets blame Farah.

There is traffic on Parramatta road. Must be Robbie holding everyone up.

Some of our fans will find a way to involve Farah with some blame in everything.

I've seen the name Ballin brought up as a possible trade for Taupau

When is Ballin expected back from injury ??

That would be a wonderful trade for manly but for us :crazy

Are you saying someone finds Farah a little difficult to work with?

Shocker.

And he is leaving here to go to Manly - hope he finds DCE a little easier to work with - no one else at Manly can.
