Question now is, who the hell would want to be Wests Tigers CEO?
They'd need to get paid squillions for it to be worth it but we only afford to pay average wage….

I'm hearing Happy Tiger is selling his house in Gladstone?

That really would be a case of the lunatics running the asylum wouldn't it.

I'm my own source.

Nah, its all over Facebook and Twitter.

Oh well it must be true. For a moment there I thought it might have been an unconfirmed rumour.

Once upon a time the whole forum was scolded for believing Beau Ryans announcement of a new contract on TFS, we've come a long way!

I once had a watch that was right twice a day.

Point remains, we've come from a time where people would bleat constantly how silly we all were about believing the words that came straight from Beau's mouth. Whether twitter/facebook are right today means little, just as long as people remember that they now can't go back and rag on others for posting things they heard from twitter/facebook.

Huzzah!

And we've also come from a time when Ham Radio was the worlds most advanced communication system, whats your point? You're knit picking for the sake of it, as usual.

No we haven't.

This whole fiasco was always going to result in some blood shed, it was just a question who was going to bleed.

At one stage it was Potter, than Payten, than Farah and of course the board, they should sell the rights to this a let nine run a mini series, could put millions in the bank for us!!!

I think Mayer did plenty of good things for us, but if half is true what has been said about him, he was not a easy man to get on with.

Anyway one head will not stop the rot

Someone has to pay for Farah's decision to take a shot at goal after the siren had gone last night.

The best line I've read on this GM topic, " he's done a lot of good things at our club". Ummm I give up, what's he done. Can someone please tell me.

How do you know what part he played in that?

Maybe these guys just wanted to stay because they looked around at the players around them and decided we are quite possibly at the start of something great.
Don't forget he lost Tedesco and it was only because of Robbie Farah that he is staying.

I don't think anybody we have retained would say they stayed because of Mayer.

Was it Mayer who did the negotiating?

I've seen Potter and Mayer take a walloping in here from the same small group of people every time something bad happens, whether they were involved or not. If people are going to use that sort of logic then it seems acceptable to also credit them every time something good happens for us. At the very least it will even out the vitriol hurled their way.

Sorry but thats bs. What did he do, as far as i can tell Tedesco was depressed and Farah told him to go away and have a rethink. He never told him to renege like some seem to think.

He spoke to a group of us at the function before the game last night.

He brought potter along as well.

In short, he said don't believe anything that's happening in the media, the stories you hear and the truth are 2 different things.

He said that him and potter get along fine.

Potter told us brooks was out before it was announced.

And the game plan would imbibe testing koro under the high ball.

Could just be lip service from mayer though.

Potter sounded genuine, mayer sounded like a politician .

If Farah hadn't done that where do you believe Tedesco would be playing next year?
