Mbye long term fullback?

I'd say that's the plan. His first full season at fullback too. Looks the goods and should only improve.

Long term fullback and one of our better signings in our short history.

Will only get better in the years to come. **Teddy who**?

More players like Mbye please recruitment dept

He is probably not as elusive as Teddy (although he is elusive enough), but his ball playing skills are superior to Teddy's.

Ball playing fullbacks are all the rage now days imo.

Agreed, When Mbye set up Nofo against Canberra, Bloker made the same point and said that it was Slater who started the trend.

I believe he's wrong. It was Brett Hodgson who was the first ball-playing full back. He added a new dimension to our attack, with Benji on one side of the ruck and Hodgo on the other.

Slater may have perfected the art of the ball-playing fullback, but it was Hodgson who started the trend.

Imagine if Slater ended up going to the Sharks in 03.

**Probably his best position too as he has elite athletic abilities.**

Could be the fittest at the club?

I reckon he'd be a good centre too but happy for him to stay at fullback.

Can play anywhere 1-7 and 9.

He certainly does, watching the warm up last week at the ground, he was just about jumping out of skin and is amazingly light on his feet.

I have no idea if he is always like that because it's the first time I've been able to observe him pre-match, but it was no surprise to me that he had a great game because he certainly looked up for it.

Ticks a lot of boxes as fullback, a keeper and I'm a fan.

He still needs a bit of work as a fullback. There have been a few times where he's sat back and watched the ball and been caught in goal rather than attacking it. But I'd say he has the best fullback coaches available to him. He keeps getting better each week.

100000x better than options discussed on this forum e.g. Wighton, Moylan, Barba, Dugan, Nofoaluma etc.
IMHO, the best WT FBs are:
1 Tedesco
2 Hodgson
3 Mbye
4 Thompson
