Well if the tigers have actually signed him like people on here have said, now is the time to announce it ?don’t leave your fans in the dark stressing

He didn’t have a contract with us so what do we announce?

I said IF he actually has signed like people on here were announcing then the club should announce it. Obviously those people were wrong and he hasn’t signed anything.

Maybe we can do a press release saying he’s signing with titans like we did with JAC ?

He showed some potential, but played very limited minutes.

Will spend plenty of time with Burleigh, as he will be sitting behind Proctor, Fifita, Fa'asuameleaui, Ese'ese

Sam McIntyre liked the post on Instagram, so I’d say that’d be pretty telling....

Didn’t we already have him signed like a week ago according to the Pom?

That's what he said...there is no cooling off period anymore so sign is actually signed....a guess that didnt come off?

That’s what’s confused me a little. Even with us he would probably be coming off the bench. At titans he might not get a spot in first grade at all, add in Fotuaika, Ryan James, Fermor, Whitbread, Wallace and Stone and there’s a heap of competition for spots at the GC for prop or second row.

Seems like getting more wrong than right.....

Did he re-sign?...once you sign you cant backflip.
Aloiai....a formality to go to Manly?

POM:

Couple of points over the last couple weeks:

McIntyre has re-signed (not sure on why it hasn’t been announced as yet)
Aloiai & Blore just a formality now with their ext,

Was also confident on the JAC meeting

Things change quickly in footy. We can’t expect The Pom to be completely accurate all the time. As with every rumour you can’t expect it to be true gotta wait for official announcements

then dont report as re-signed, when he didnt

This is going to be one long off season. This is a big loss I reckon. He’s technique and aggression is something we needed and couldn’t afford to lose. What is going on ...........................

He’s never going to be a superstar or Origin player, but he’d still be a loss. Hard as nails. The silver lining if we to lose him, it’s a spot that still needs to be filled. It’s getting a bit ridiculous not having any clue about gains and losses. It’s midway through November. Guess we’ll be waiting till nearly February like we did last year with BJ and Doueihi. Fun times.

Unfortunately he is gone, something changed on Thursday but appears Titans came in at the 13th hour with an offer to good to refuse, hence the delay in announcement but certainly caught Madge off guard.

Sadly our recruitment guys are completely asleep at the wheel this year. Failing to recruit and retain. Appalling effort thus far. Failing to get the job done. So close to many players but stalling to the point that we lose players we want.

This is very disappointing from the CEO/Coach/GM not being able to retain a player like Mcintyre whilst there is speculation around Mansour/Roberts.

He proved last season he deserved a revised contract yet we don't have the cap to pay extra's bit we can chase JAC on big coin and come up with nothing.

What example does this show to the younger players coming through our systems and some of the ones that have been elevated to 1st grade now, we talk about developing a club culture but we do the opposite.

Starting to really get disillusioned with this club the way it is being managed from the top - lets embark on a campaign to get rid of the CEO if the board won't???

Fans copping a slap in the face from this club nearly every day lately. It almost feels like there are forces at play trying to destroy the club completely.

Honestly what good are vacant spots though when nobody wants to play here? Well end up resigning Reynolds and Packer next.

Are we actually chasing Mansour and Roberts?

Of course we are...that's all the talent we can attract.....that I don't need THE_POM to tell us....The sooner we stop the pension signing cycle, the more attractive and harmonious our club will become...Gus like McIntyre and Aloiai see what Packer and Reynolds get paid without busting their ass and say why should I.....

McIntyre played above his contract value..it's what you need to build a competitive squad..very disappointing he could not be retained for fair value

Best of luck to him if a better deal came from the Gold Coast..careers can be short..

Thanks for the info.

What a farce we have become.

We develop him for ages, he finally comes good. Our one player who actually has technique in his D. Who actually stings in D.

Can ball play and tackle = ideal long term 13.

Pom, have they even looked at the balance of the team? Because it looks like a mess right now. There are so many things needed that have not been addressed. The squad is top heavy in several positions and extremely weak in others.

If Madge is 'surprised' a kid he gave a chance to, who looked a long term starter, has suddenly left....what does that say about how we negotiate with players?

Guys like McIntyre, alioia, garner et al see how much that Reynolds is getting paid and that they are in the NRL team and Reynolds isn’t.

It's a loss. I don't think it's a massive loss but he can tackle and he has come on within our squad. I'd like to keep these guys as well.

Look he’s not a huge loss, solid player the big question is will his money (which wasn’t much) be used well and will we replace him

We need another second rower at the club otherwise one injury and it’s literally Chee Kam on the bench and that’s not good enough

It's not great to lose him but he is definitely not a player that you get into a bidding war over. It is impossible to be critical when you do not know how much the Titans are paying him.

This sadly will happen until we get the cap in order and can afford to pay decent money across the board. 2.5m in Packer, Reynolds and Mbye is the problem. Brooks on massive money yet to deliver on his talent. We are a basket case but I think we are on the right track problem is we are two seasons away. It’s not pretty when it looks like 2022-23 to compete.
