Just a question, if the POM knew that the Titans gazumped us on Thursday why did he not post anything until it was rumoured on here?
Maybe he is just a forum member with no more information than the rest of the people on here.

I don’t normally respond to comments like this but I feel this one warrants it.

I don’t speak with club personnel/sources daily.
Last information received was it all done & dusted to the point he was doing prep work with other players in time for training to resume next week.
I only addressed it this morning & not Thursday as I received a couple messages this morning saying he was gone & then reached out to my sources.

Now I also don’t normally slag off on management but this one is completely on them, he agreed a couple weeks ago to a new deal but they have been so focused on JAC that they left it unsigned & the Titans swooped in.
Apparently management can’t multi task.

That’s horrendous ! Im hesitant to say he will be any things other than 17th man for his career , but seriously , what the actual . Is that Pascoe or Hartigan ? Why can’t there be a negotiation team and a closing team ? Ie . Once the deal is basically sorted , the legal team takes over . Thats incompetence if true

Someone needs to start taking some ownership of this rudderless ship before its too late. Is anyone at this club accountable for anything? Im interested to hear what excuses will come when Reynolds, Packer and Mbye are no longer on the books and we come up with piss weak roster yet again. Nice to know that someone at the Titans knows how at least give thier fans some confidence. We are a joke and frankly deserve all the media hammering we get. Is there any reason why they should leave us alone?

Thanks POM that’s the sore of response I was waiting for, the only reason that I posted that was to try and get a response from you.
Then management needs a good swift kick up the backside.

I'm sorry but this is getting out of control... Maybe Buzz and the media are correct as it looking more like it every day...
@THE_POM Do you think us fans will get any good news in the near future as I be honest this is just depressing.

That's two good signings (including JAC and McIntyre) lost due to the Wests Tigers' pre-occupation with signing JAC when there was probably zilch chance of his signing with the club (mainly because he didn't want to go to Wests tigers in the first place.).

That combined with the failed signing of Mitchell after extremely long Wests Tigers negotiations has cost Wests Tigers plenty in terms of money, time and attracting players who actually want to [play with Wests Tigers. The club's amateur negotiations are at an amateur level leading to the current situation where outside players see an advantage with dealing with Wests Tigers even though they have no intention at all of playing with the club.

The club needs a fully trained professional negotiator who can do a much better job in attracting good players without being used by all and sundry.

Wake up Tigers from your costly management slumber.

It sounds like they were holding off in case Jac needed a slight top up , which would have come from McIntyre, in the end they get nothing. It's just embarrassing.

Hopefully the lure of a spot in first grade is enough to entice some young gun stuck behind others.
Could go for Tupinoa for 22 and hope Roosters let him go early. Can't see that happening though. We could double his salary though

That's plausible BB. Isn't the new development player from the Storm 22? Perhaps he may step up into the 30?

All aboard the Angus Crichton hype train

We shouldn't even discuss any signing until it's official. There is no point getting worked up and we never get the top line players anyway.

Was thinking this coming week would be an improvement compared to the last.

Might've jumped da gun a wee bit :astonished: :grimacing:

Clearly no transparency from McIntryre about his intentions. Can't trust anyone to do what they say they are going to do, and contracts mean squat anyway.

Pro's & Cons for Big Mac at WT's or GC

**WT's**
Pro's:

* Consistent 1st grade playing time

* That's it

* That's it

When I put it like that I know where I'd rather sign:grimacing: :grimacing:

**If** this is true, then this is outright incompetence. Leaving an unsigned contract for weeks reeks of either pure laziness or an inability to manage an organization, and tells the player they are not an important member of the club.

Given the massive hole that we are in as a club, these are the exact type of signing that get us out of the mess. McIntyre, while currently not an origin player, is a player that has improved massively in our system.

IMO, McIntyre is a first-grade quality player on what I would imagine is a modest contract and therefore playing above his contract weight. The exact type of player that great sides can be built around.

I really hope I am wrong and the reason for the delay in signing is that there is a much better player just waiting to sign on the dotted line...

It all comes back to loyalty and lack there of. Players are self involved and clubs are chasing shadows and managers have become the puppet masters.

Did he come to the club and give them a chance to match the offer? I think that is a question that needs to be asked.
