MCK

This is a hard one, MCK does not strike me as egotistical, but he does come across as a hard worker and a never give up person.

If family is looked after then the hard descission may be the best descission.

I wonder if the Tigers are intending to resign him into 2022?

I don’t think MCK will be re-signed next season as he doesn’t offer that much to the team.

MCK was a gun at junior level however never really heights at NRL although a very good career. The biggest thing for him (health aside) is if he retires what is next as this is all he has known. The article is basically a death knell for a new contract if I was recruiting at another club. Super League maybe but the money is not great and up rooting a family to move to sunny UK is not as appealing as it seems. MCK is in a tough position for next career move.
He did okay in the trials but if you are playing in the centers in the trial and not in your position at 2nd row then the writing is already on the wall....where is the Metro Cup when you need one.

MCK has had a better career than most. It's a pretty small percentage of aspirants that can say they played 50 NRL games, and far fewer can say they single-handedly won an NRL game, much less twice.
