Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap for 2018 and beyond the Club has decided to prioritise the re-signings of Captain Aaron Woods and James Tedesco.
As a result the current contract offer that was with Moses’ management was taken off the table by Wests Tigers.
After being made aware of this decision Moses’ management requested an immediate release from the remainder of Moses’ current contract; this request was denied by Wests Tigers.
This decision was purely made due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap, with the Club not willing to put itself in a risky position for 2018 and beyond.

He wants to play finals and the team he picks is the only team in the comp who has a longer finals drought than us.
And if the reason why he wants to leave immediately is because he thinks he has a more realistic chance of playing finals at Parra this year, well then suck it. He was here all off season, he was a big factor in why this has become a circus, and when the time comes for him to make a decision, he not only decides to leave but wants to leave straight away and leave our club to pick up the pieces why he makes a charge to the finals? Who does this punk think he is.

Sounds like they pulled the deal when Cronk became a possibility. The timing is all too coincidental.
Friday 3 year 3 million dollar deal.
Monday Cronk is on the market.

I would say Brooks has got in quick and Moses was left high and dry and his release request is because he knows it.
