Havent read one comment of anyone wanting to keep him
He has really made us bitter and angry if this is true

They all have. Isn't it ironic that the one we all cared for the least is the one showing the most loyalty.

100%

Couldnt have said it any better
I feel guilty for being one of those trying to get a boot into Brooks too.

Yeah same,

If Woods happens to go (hope not) should Brooks be our captain

i dont know whats bothering me more right now, us losing games this year or finding our super stars jumping ship for more $$$ despite saying its not all about money

I suspect its 99% about money

See ya.

Try and make a few tackles at Parra eh bro.

I'm only upset that we let Austin & Te Marie go to cater for you so called "big shots" and this is how you repay the club…..See ya.

Paul Kent NRL 360 explains the reasons behind this move and makes a lot of sense as to why Moses considering this move its just a shame we never hung onto TMM

Absolutely NO.

He has no confidence in himself, let alone be confident to tell others what to do.

**Mitchell Moses agrees to Parramatta deal and wants immediate release from Wests Tigers**
>
Adrian Proszenko, Michael Chammas
>
Parramatta have snared Mitchell Moses on a deal that could result in the playmaker making an immediate shift from Wests Tigers.
>
The Tigers, citing salary cap concerns, pulled their three-year offer to Moses on Wednesday. That prompted Moses to seek an immediate release after agreeing to terms on an Eels deal believed to be worth $700,000 per season from 2018.
>
Tigers coach Ivan Cleary will make the ultimate call on whether the pivot is granted an early exit. Regardless, the result is at least one of the Tigers' "big four" will move on next year, although Aaron Woods and James Tedesco may now be more inclined to do likewise.
>
Moses will form a formidable halves pairing with Eels halfback Corey Norman, one of the favourites to take out this year's Dally M medal. Norman appears to have regained his focus after a series of off-field indiscretions hampered him last season and the new pairing could make them genuine premiership contenders.
>
The Eels have the salary cap funds to expedite Moses' transfer and the Tigers may opt to release a player who has no intention of remaining long term. The blue and golds were attempting to lure Cronulla's Jack Bird to the club but pulled out of the race for his signature on the weekend. They instead turned their attention to Moses and it is now a case of when they get their man.
>
The development ends months of speculation about the Tigers halves. Within days of taking up the top job, Cleary has secured Brooks while Moses has knocked back a revised offer from the former Warriors and Panthers mentor.
>
Jack Littlejohn, called into first grade after Brooks was ruled out indefinitely with a hamstring problem, has been handed the assignment of marking up on Cowboys great Johnathan Thurston on Saturday night. However, the Tigers may go to market in search of an established half to play alongside Brooks.
>
Clint Gutherson has done a serviceable job at five-eighth since the departure of Kieran Foran last year. However, the Eels were keen to snare a specialist playmaker to add to a spine that includes exciting fullback Bevan French. Parramatta will come up against Foran for the first time on Sunday after the former New Zealand international made a successful comeback for the Warriors last weekend.
>
Parramatta have recorded a 2-3 start to their campaign and need a victory to remain in touching distance of the competition frontrunners.
>
Only last week, Moses said the biggest factor in his decision was linking with a club that was a genuine finals contender.
>
"It has nothing to do with money. Money is the last thing on my mind," Moses said.
>
"First thing is I want to be playing good footy in a good footy side.
>
"That's the biggest thing for me.
>
"As long as I'm playing good footy and enjoying my footy, the money doesn't matter.
>
"Being here the last three or four years and we've been at the bottom of the table every year, it takes its toll on you."
>
It appears the 22-year-old has come to the conclusion that he is more likely to play finals football with the Eels than the Tigers.

ET is the man for that job

The Lurker's claims provide a potential solution to Moses' departure

Sharks star James Maloney is being shopped around to rival clubs even though he is under contract for next season.

Maloney’s management believes he is underpaid after he played a major role in winning the club’s first ever premiership in 2016.
\
\
The cheeky five-eighth is the heart and soul of the Cronulla team and without him, it’s doubtful the club would have taken the title.

Maloney is on fair money but has asked for an upgrade - and the Sharks have knocked him back.

As a result, his manager has spread the word to rival clubs that he may be available for 2018 if the price was right.

It’s an old trick to force Cronulla’s hand - but the Sharks have salary cap problems - as most clubs do when they win a premiership and the value of their players goes up.

And if they don’t come up with extra cash for the goalkicking pivot, Maloney may request a release and go to a rival club.

Stand by for the matter to come to a head now I’ve brought it out into the open - even though both club and player are likely to deny there is any problem.

Wests Tigers would like to clarify media reports this afternoon around the contract status of Mitchell Moses.

Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap for 2018 and beyond the Club has decided to prioritise the re-signings of Captain Aaron Woods and James Tedesco.

As a result the current contract offer that was with Moses’ management was taken off the table by Wests Tigers.

After being made aware of this decision Moses’ management requested an immediate release from the remainder of Moses’ current contract; this request was denied by Wests Tigers.

This decision was purely made due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap, with the Club not willing to put itself in a risky position for 2018 and beyond.

The Club informed Moses’ management that it would be willing to revisit negotiations once the 2018 salary cap figure was confirmed.

He wants to play finals and the team he picks is the only team in the comp who has a longer finals drought than us.

And if the reason why he wants to leave immediately is because he thinks he has a more realistic chance of playing finals at Parra this year, well then suck it. He was here all off season, he was a big factor in why this has become a circus, and when the time comes for him to make a decision, he not only decides to leave but wants to leave straight away and leave our club to pick up the pieces why he makes a charge to the finals? Who does this punk think he is.

Hahahahah poor Moses copped all of this and it was the club who told him he wasn't required. Good decision though.

A massive, delusional sook. Had forever to sign, didn't do it and when the club pulls the offer has a cry. We're better off without someone of his nature at our club.

He thinks he is running the club ..

Make him sit out for rest of 2017 like they forced Robbie to
That will give me great satisfaction personally

Seems a bit petty from his management, especially given we released players giving him priority.

Trouble is Mitch…...............you're not playing good footy at the moment and this could be a good side, well, certainly better, if some players pulled their fingers out.

Sounds like they pulled the deal when Cronk became a possibility. The timing is all too coincidental.

Friday 3 year 3 million dollar deal.
Monday Cronk is on the market.
Wednesday wait no wait deals off.

I would say Brooks has got in quick and Moses was left high and dry and his release request is because he knows it.
